YuRee,
Thank you for putting together another fun event! Thanks for everyone for designing such cute ,fun projects and bringing such yummy food!
I forgot to ask whoever did the coaster project (Peggy?, Paula?) where do you get your coasters?
I know Rocky Mountain Stamper said she'd post all the pictures, but can they be posted with USS 092907 in the title so we cam find them easily?
I'll be watching for news on the next get together, maybe after the holidays? I could hostess again, but I'm afraid I'm jinxed since only 8 of us came to the last one I hosted!
Thanks again!
Missi
The first batch of coasters, I got off the BST boards here. The next batch came from ebay. I bought them from "drivingboardgamer" but "starlitstudio" who I believe is an SCSer sells them there too. I am so addicted now. If you look in my gallery, you'll see a few projects I've made with them. I have others I just haven't posted yet.
4-5 chicken breasts, boiled and shredded
package of colelsaw mix (from produce isle)
1 cup slivered almonds
2 packages of ramen noodles, oriental flavor
2 packets of oriental ramen seasoning
1 cup oil
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1 tsp soy sauce (3-4 shakes)
salt and pepper to taste
in saucepan brown broken ramen noodles in butter when almost brown add almonds. Mix all ingredients together in large bowl. Chill and serve.
1 bag of microwave popcorn (I like jumbo pop) remove all unpopped kernels
1/3 c butter
3 Tbsp light karo syrup
3/4 c brown sugar
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp vanilla
bring to a slight boil over medium heat. Remove from heat and add baking soda and vanilla (it will puff up a bit). Pour over popcorn. Best eaten warm. Store remaining caramel popcorn in ziploc bag, if any is left!!!
Enjoy!

Thanks for the recipe.. I will call Nancy and see if I can get the recipe for the artichoke dip from her.
Missi- ANOTHER ONE?? ummm Let me see if there are any volunteers to coordinate one. Maybe we can go a little bit south like in maybe Centerville area again?? Did you all mind being at the church house? Maybe we can talk Debora into coordinating the next one. ;)
Thanks again ladies.. I came home and was so excited about the new projects!
Thank you all so much for the fun, fun projects. It was so fun to do different things!!! I also want to thank you for being so nice to my daughter and letting her make some things too. She had so much fun, talked about it all the way home. Thanks Yuree for all your hard work!!! Tanya and I could maybe put one together after the holidays. Missi it was so good to see you again, congrats on your upcoming wedding.!
Camie,
Thank you! It was fun seeing you again too! Your daughter is a darling girl! I'm glad she had fun.
I think you and Tanya would be great hostesses. I love shoebox swaps, they are my favorite stamping events. I get to make fun stuff and only have to think up one project! I'll patiently wait til after the holidays.

I'm downloading photos this morning and will post with this title--Great idea.
What a FUN shindig, gals! It was so great to meet everyone IRL and put SCS names to faces!!
I'd love to get together again after the holidays. I'll even host, but I'll probably not make cards cuz as you all know I seriously struggled, and I wasn't even in charge on Sat!!! I'm more of a "loner stamper" in the sense that if I want to do serious stampin', I have to be by myself. If I'm surrounded by people, I'm far more interested in socializing than stampin'. I know, I'm weird....remember, I'm smokin' pot, right, YuRee??? :-D
Either go to my gallery and look for the Utah Girls Shoebox Swap Album, or I put USS 092907 as a keyword that you can use in a search.
I couldn't remember all the names that went with each project, so please post here or PM me and let me know what your project was and I'll go back and edit the upload.
Also, I only had 12 projects...weren't there 13 total??? Let me know if I didn't upload yours!

Watch for the posts and have a wonderful day!

Did I say that?? ;)
Sounds like an after holiday's get together is going to happen.. I am glad to not be in charge of one but be warned. I don't sit still well and you will have to remind me that I am not in charge.
Thanks Melissa for posting the pictures. I was excited to see them all in one place and noticed some already have comments on them.. Awesome job ladies..
On a side note.. Robert's had a 50% off for today but they are also doing a sale for the 6th and 7th that includes their sales flyer but also MORE! The Cuttlebug Dies and Embossing Folders are 50% off. Glue dots (boogers or boogies) are 3 for $6. and other stuff and if that is not what you are looking for then they also have another 50% off coupon..
Thanks for the heads up Yuree. I used my Robert's coupon at Mike's today because it is much closer to my house. Maybe I will make it to Roberts later. Can't pass up another 50% off coupon!

I may just have to escape out that way sometime after Family Night---gotta love that 50% off, baby!
Thanks for the heads-up qt!!!
Mel (MelReese1)----I can't remember which project is yours but for some reason I'm thinking I didn't get it/post it. Will you let me know? Thanks!
I am looking at my list of names here too and there were only 9 people that signed into the swap.. This is ok but I just wanted to have a way to contact you for future events. If you would like for me to add you to the list of people who were there, please PM me. It makes it easier for me too when I am going back to print and label pictures to put in the binder for the next swap to know the names of who was there. Especially since I was a slacker and forgot the nametags this time...
I only have 12 projects too.. I think there was a total of 13 ladies there but that number included Camie's daughter.
