From what I understand, American Crafts just introduced these at the winter CHA so it may be a little while before they hit the stores. Scrapbook.com has a preview page so maybe they'll be carrying them soon. http://www.scrapbook.com/blog/view/135867.html (scroll down to the stamping section). I'm sure several other online stores will be carrying them too. It's so hard to wait for all the yummy stuff we saw previewed at CHA, isn't it? We're like the ladies in the old Mervyns commercial - open, open, open but for us it's hurry, hurry, hurry!

Crafts Etc has a bunch of these embossing powders including the neon ones on sale for $3.74 1 oz. size. Free shipping with $25! Grab your credit cards.......they look awesome!:-D I love embossing.
I just placed a nice sized order... got me the slice and an extra cartridge!!! This will be so awesome to take to crops! Plus some embossing powders, ribbon, a white ink pad, and some rubber stamps! They have AWESOME prices!
Just placed an order for 10 of them... plus the ones I bought at the other webbie makes 13.. I have to space them out, they are kinda expensive! But I am sure in here they'd be even more expensive if I bought them locally.
Did you get the lavender? It looks fabulous. I would love all of the colours and that blue metallic....wow! So, I have to ask, do you get better colour if you emboss with coloured embossing powders rather than stamping in the desired colour and then embossing in the clear powder?
What kind of bad luck? I did some outlining of flowers in both gold and silver yesterday and I'm very pleased with the results. I have also done black and pink and they all seem to work well.

YES got both lavender AND metallic blue!
And I think it's the same thing, but I haven't really tried. I know it's cheaper to use clear powder and colored ink. But I'd think you get better color with colored embossing powders because the color is right on the surface, not under a layer of versamark or under a layer of clear embossing powder, know what I mean?

I haven't tried theirs yet. But the stuff I have - the ones with glitter tend to blow away .....
Gold and silver are more metallic. I love those!

I am not familiar with embossing powders with glitter in them. Mine are just the straight powder. You have some lovely cards on your gallery. I love the little house mouse one you did for your friend with strep. It will surely help her to get better.

Aw. Thank you! She's all better now. She got a big kick out of the Mouse Drops.
Yup! I LOVE them even though they were so expensive, the colors are so vibrant! I have been stamping on versamark a butterfly and step by step adding different colors of embossing powders (you can't mix them together or you get an ugly color) and it looks beautiful!
Yes! And then I add one color of embossing powder with a scoop to one part, then shake off excess and put it away, then with another scoop i add another color of embossing powder, shake excess and put it away, and so on.
New update: I love the colors I bought BUT this line of embossing powders is very coarse. It is NOT good for fine detail. I think the distressed embossing powders are even finer than these.
Once I found a good juicy embossing pad and a solid stamp (not outline) - the color is fantastic! The texture is more dotted than smooth uniform solid. The best way I can describe it is kinda like if you water paint on wax paper (as if). It forms into little dots. These dots are much smaller - but dots all the same.
I tried mine with an outline stamp, a ruffled butterfly by stampendous, and they seem to work just fine with the detail. I do have to blow away the excess.

Can you post a picture? Maybe I'm doing it wrong. It all seems to fall off my image when I tap it - unless the image has a large enough surface.
I found it very coarse too. I used it on a small bee and there was no place left to color. Have to say I'm glad I didn't buy more of it as it is very expensive in Canada.
