A special invitation for you . . .

“For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and
not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.? Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)
I don't know why but the bookmarks are frustrating me. Maybe I am worried because the invite is apparently so good that I'm afraid the bookmarks aren't. So please look these and give your honest opinions. The first is very basic and alittle wide in my opinion the second one I trimmed down and added a backing. You ladies can give me your opinions any time! What an encouragement so fast!
The ladies who are coming to assemble don't do stamping so I needed to stick with really simple stuff. They are easily impressed so I wasn't really sure how well this turned out. Does that make sense?
We bought Mike's vellum and I hated the feel of it so I am rush ordering our vellum paper as well as our ribbon instead of the grosgrain yellow that was picked out from Mike's. Plus it is a whole lot better deal. She spent 15 bucks on vellum!
I got into stampin that I might glorify the Lord and what an oportunity to be apart of this ministry. I'm so glad I could contribute.
Thank you again so much for your encouragement.

The text font is the same but smaller.
I'm glad to hear that the layout is good. I really need to be thanking everyone who posts their stuff on SCS. Just about everything I have learned has come from here.
Thank you again!

Very classy and beautiful, I would not change a thing. Your decision to not use baby colors shows how much thought you have put into the feelings of these special ladies!

perfect just the way it is!! And whom ever came up with the idea for the event is a genius! What a great cause, I know too many than I'd like to that have been in that awful situation...good luck, and God bless!!!
They are both so lovely, but because time is an issue, I would probably go with the first one. It corresponds well with the invite, and I don't think anyone would miss the layered CS if it wasn't there.
Michelle, Your invitation is truly lovely....classy and elegant.
I like your bookmarks very much too, but have a suggestion for an alternate design that might save you a little time (a little less stamping). What if you stamped the same basic two tulips in the center of the bookmark, printed over the stampin', and then tore the edges using the tearing edge and sponged very lightly on the torn edge? You might need to stamp off or use paler tones to get the verse to show up. Just a thought.
And I must say, that you are obviously as beautiful on the inside as you are on the outside!!! You are a blessing to your church, to the ladies that will be invited to the tea, and to the SCS world.
