I am pretty new to stamping here. I am familiar with forums though, and this question probably gets asked at least once a month, but I was just wondering what is your favorite stamping tools. Must haves, not including stamps and ink. ;) Being Christmas time, I am sure people out there have some items on their wish lists other than stamp sets. This hopefully will act as a wish list for me and others who are in my position.
Thanks in advance for taking time to read this!

Stamp-a-ma-jig for sure. I put it off for a long time because it sounded too complicated but it's definitely not and has improved my results considerably. Also...a crafters tool kit.Mine is CM, bought with a Michael's 50% off coupon. SU's is great also.
A must have for me was the stamp scrubber and cleaner. I like to keep my stamps super clean. I also keep an old toothbrush on hand for cleaning off Sta-zon and dark ink.
This is so helpful, thanks to all that have posted so far! I love the tip about the toothbrush! I don't think I would have ever thought of that, and I am having so many problems with my dark inks.
Has anyone ever heard of green alcohol taking off Sta-zon? I picked some up but it didn't seem to work for me.
With the Stamp-a-ma-jig, can you re-stamp over an already stamped image? Say I want to stamp the flower stems green and flowers blue, can I ink separately and restamp and have it look right?
Thanks again, and hopefully more people keep the ideas coming!

Yup! The stamp-a-ma-jig is awesome! You get a perfect stamped image everytime. That is a must have for me. I also have to have my eyelet setter, anywhere hole punch, ribbon punch and hammer and stuff to heat emboss.
I bought something recently from SU that I can't believe I didn't get sooner. I bought the adhesive remover. Its just a couple of bucks and it really is my favorite tool that helps fix my mistakes!!! I use mono-multi glue a lot and sometimes it gets out of control and gets on my card or whatever. Glue, tape residue, whatever, doesn't come up very well and if you try rubbing it off, sometimes you rip, color changes, it gets dirty, etc. But this remover-eraser works like a charm. I just love it and its by my side all the time now. Mary

I keep seeing this and am tempted to get it but I didn't know if it was really worth it.... might have to just get me some now! :O)
I *never* thought I'd be saying this, but I love, love, love the crop-o-dile. LOVE it. I'd given up on eyelets YEARS ago, convincing myself that I didn't really like them anyway, because I just couldn't get them to look right, and the banging of the setter made me crazy. The crop-o-dile is quick, quiet and fabulous. I set more eyelets today (40) than I have in 7 years.
I'd say a must is white embossing powder and a white gel pen. I tried white craft ink for the longest time and never liked results. Now when I want something in white I use the white ep and I get a crisp, clean and very white image.
The tools, besides the obvious (paper cutter, adhesive, adhesive remover), that I use the most right now is the paper piercer and mats for faux stitching. I love doing that to my projects. It just adds a little umpf.
I also couldn't be without sponges and the new cutting kit from SU to distress the edges of cardstock.
The brayer is another must have for me. I use it for inking up my background stamps.

Yes Mary, I was going to post this too, a must for mono multi, I adore mine. It is a Xyron brand, so you might be able to find it at your local hobby place.

I echo the white gel pen. I'm a huge fan of watercolor paper, watercolor crayons and a watercolor brush or aquapainter. Invest in a high quality paper trimmer. try it out before you buy. Most of us buy cheap ones at first, toss them, and keep buying until we find one we love. I have a genesis paper trimmer and love it.

I have been eyeing the SU Cutter Kit! what does it all do? and is it worth getting? I'm getting a tag maker for Christmas so I can't wait to play with that! I love my Crafters tool kit, embossing stuff and Coluzzle
tool kit, stamp-a-ma-jig, cutter, and many more that i still NEED!!!
like a tearing edge, sizzix or something similar, wheel guide, several large punches in various shapes, brayer, cutter kit (key chain kit),and I'm sure I'm forgetting a lot of other tools I will want soon!!
Okay guys, you just convinced me. I just bought the crop-o-dile online at Joann's. It was on sale and I was able to use the 50% off coupon. The code is DECH650, in case someone is interested. Pat

My must have is plenty of different colors of cardstock. I never can make my mind up on which color to use but it is good to have an assortment. Having ink pads in every color is a must have to match the card stock and to be able to coordinate the colors.
You asked a question about how to remove Staz-On. If you stamp on a non-porous surface, like glass or tile, I have used the Staz-On remover, and it works great!
Stamp a ma Jig was a God send for my stamping...I'm still fairly new too and it took out so much of the frustration for me. I also am dependent on my background stamps!
I have two that I use together....the Watercolor Wonder crayons and the Aqua Pens. I use the aqua pens to watercolor plus they are terrific to tear mulberry paper perfectly!
