Which are your favorite blueprint sets for A2 Cards. Number one looks like a must have, but do you use the layering piece, or is it easier to just cut with a blade cutter? Thanks!
I have to admit that I wasn't sure about this series when it started. I was concerned that there would be dies I wouldn't use, so why would I want to pay for them? As time went on, and the collection grew, I really enjoyed watching what the talented ladies of the design team created with these sets. I finally got with the program and have come to seriously appreciate this series. I recently purchased Blueprints 3, and I'm looking forward to adding more to my collection. I'd definitely encourage you to take the leap – have fun with them!
They're dies of various shapes that are sold as a set by My Favorite Things (MFT). When they release a new set (I believe they're up to 19), the design team shows how you can incorporate several of the dies/elements together, therefore using them as a "blueprint" for your design. I hope that makes some sense. Here's a link to a page in MFT'S store that shows some of the Blueprints sets: Search results for: 'Blueprints'. Hope that helps!
Blueprints 13 and 15 are my favorite. I have many of them.. but those are my favorite. I almost always order directly from MFT, and Amazon has several that are Prime.

Does any use the My Favorite Things blueprint 26? I am contemplating buying that one but there are a few more I like as well, so I can't make my mind up.
I use 13 the most because of the stitched rectangle being the right size. 26 is Birthday balloon and I use elements quite a bit, but the curved corners on the outline are hard to make a card with, in my opinion. I have one Blueprints that is no longer on their website...it's a giant tag and I hardly ever use it.
I use #13 a lot because it has the stitched rectangle size of 4-1/4X5. That’s a size I like a lot. Since this thread started several years ago I think they have a few more. I really only bought this set because I was having trouble finding this particular size of stitched rectangle. Haven’t used the rest of the pieces but there are a couple of tags in the set that look useful.
