To outline the basics of why I use my cell phone when I am shopping is simple. I want to stay in touch with my friends. We all work at least 8 hours a day, during which time it is not possible to sit and talk on the phone. Then when we get home we have kids that have to be taken or picked up from practices, exercise classes we attend, school functions, dinner to be fixed, served and cleaned up, houses to clean, yards to manicure, pets to walk, and among the MANY other things that make my ONE HOUR of lunch time available for talking to my friends, I have to have time to stamp, too.

I spend plenty of time shopping and talking on my phone, and I doubt I ever kept anyone else from living their life the way they want to - with or without the use of a cell phone. After standing in line WAITING on service, I always have my money ready and put my phone down to complete the transaction. However, if I were so rude to NOT do that, I would still expect the clerk to ring up my one dinky bottle of embossing powder and take the cash out of my hand for it. In this day and time, a woman has to know how to walk, talk and spend all at the same time!!!! LOL

Life is too busy to not take advantage of the perks of technology - lest we all lose touch with the friends that make life enjoyable.

We had two Joanns stores here near me in Tucson. Both closed and they built one big store across the street from Michaels. It is super...hit them both the same day, if one does not have it the other probably will. They always have two-three checkers. Nice clean, great store.

I wish they had Hobby Lobbys in PA, I love going there whenever I go to KY or CO to visit friends and relatives. Maybe I should write my congressman to attempt to get one here...

Michelle,
we are neighbors! I was just thinking the Gateway store stinks and the downingtown store is pretty good. they still have the coupon issue. I want to buy some of their books but they are on a perpetual 10% sale. The valley forge shopping center Michaels yuk! the Exton better, not great (Michaels never seems to have what i crave. and they have a completely unknowledgeable sales staff) AC moore is left, again Downingtown is the better choice for me. I live in Phoenixville. I would love to see a Hobby Lobby, I have heard so much about them on SCS.
no lss around here. If you know of one that is decent let me know!

The JA in Devon is a palace compared to the stores in E Norriton and N Wales. Even though it's a longer drive, I go to the JoAnn etc in Springfield.
