(not to mention a terrible, terrible person) when your DH tells you your FIL lost his job, and you think, "OMG! I hope he and MIL still get me the Cuttlebug I asked for for Christmas!"

(Edited to add that he does have something else lined up, and MIL makes a very good salary. So I knew they wouldn't be out in the street or anything!)

And good to know they wont be out on the street, or in your guest bedroom (I've dealt with that ~ trust me, it's no fun)
