........when you ask for a computer of your own(Christmas 2005) for your stamping room and your husband gets it so he doesn't have to fight you to sit down and do Quicken.
.......when you ask your husband for a laptop for your birthday(2006) so you can be in the living room playing on SCS while he watches TV and for us to not be apart so much.
..........and know you are really asking for it so you can take it to convention and on a cruise and not have to be away from SCS too long.
.......when your morning routine is to get up early enough (5:00 a.m.) to have time to sit and drink coffee and go over the challenge gallery from the day before and make comments before dragging yourself into the shower for work. Ugh!!!! @$%^&@@%$##&
.......when your husband comes home from work and walks in and asks if my SCS buddies have liked what I uploaded tonight.
.......when your husband calls you at work to tell you you have received an RAK in the mail from one of my buddies (he knows I love to find them in the mail).
........when you find yourself feeling as if you have more friends than you could have ever believed possible and find that their friendship is more meaningful than you ever thought possible even though you have never heard their voice or met them face to face. Hugs!!!!!!!
You know you are addicted when everyting the other addicts say applies to yourself as well!
Here I sit doing the potty dance, giggling at the other comments, thinking hummm that sounds familar!
Only because I am among friends..I'll admit it! Is this a bad thing? NAH!
You find an awesome card and show it to your DH and he says:
Is that card made with one of those cuttybuddy things? You correct him and say its a cuttlebug and he gives you a look like.....I should know these things? Good for a laugh anyway!

I can relate to all of the above, and here's mine: your non-stamping friends look at you curiously because you are talking about all the friends you've made over the internet.
Your daughter warns you of being molested by internet voyeurs and tells you the dork sisters are all a hoax!
You set a timer for the quick morning check-in, and next thing you know it's noon!
You're considering asking for a laptop so you can take your "friends" everywhere you go.
You know you're addicted to SCS when you're at work, typing activites in the computer using SCS abbreviations...."Insured called to report that her DS was driving her car last night and had an accident!!!!"; "Insured called to delete DD from the policy as she is away at school".....

when you keep telling the kids you will fix dinner in a minue and when you finially look at the clock it is almost 8pm................
Uhhh! I did that tonight! LOL
You know you're addicted to splitcoaststampers when you're invited to a New Year's Eve party but you politely say no because you'll miss Michelle Laycocks roll-out of the new blog spot search engine!

You know you are an addict when you take your laptop to bed with you every night and fall asleep while still connected to Splitcoast!

Oh, Kittie! I got warm fuzzies reading all that! I can relate!
You know you're an SCS junkie when your kids are junkies, too!
.......when you become an insomniac .. 'just checking' whenever you wake in the middle of the night.
I was just thinking today, as I have spent most of my one day off on here, that I am becoming way too addicted to this site! I only joined last week, and have fallen in love with this place! I told my husband how cool this site was, and what great ideas I have found on here, and he had the nerve to ask me, "So what have you made?" Well, I've been too busy looking to try anything on my own!!

Better yet - when talking to someone you need to pause to make sure you say my DAUGHTER instead of my "DD".
...when someone makes a joke and the first thing in your head is LOL - not actually laughing...
...when all your conversations with "real" people start out - the other day when I was talking to my friends on splitcoast...
...when you see someone published and you get all proud and say - oh yes, I know her - that's Julie from Splitcoast - and feel like you've just admitted to knowing the biggest celebrity you can imagine!!
...when it's Jan 2 and you've already broken your New Years resolution to be more productive at work and stop spending 8 hrs a day on SCS...

Make stuff?! You mean we're supposed to make stuff?! I am so addicted, I surf back in forth from one thread to the other all day almost every day that I don't have other things to get in the way. Once in a while I will get inspired to make something like what I see on here. I am so afraid that I will miss something if I don't spend every waking moment on SCS.
Okay, fellow addicts, here is another one of my observations. In the last couple of days I saw someone post something in the General Form that it had taken her 4 hours to see all of the uploads because there were so many wonderful cards uploaded......My first thought, now there is an addicted SCSer and then I thought again (about myself). I've been there, done that! YIKES!
Now the question is, do we want to do something about the addiction or keep feeding it?
Personally I go through periods where I spend a lot of time snooping around while at other times I don't load SCS for a couple of weeks *gasp* though I do often find myself referencing "That stamping site" to hubby

Yep, I left my boss a note that her DH had called and that thier DS and DIL were picking her up...she called my cell to ask me what the .....
I never noticed I had it this bad, is there help? Oh wait! I like the 'keep feeding it idea'
LOL. Or when you are laughing to yourself and DBF asks, what's funny? and you try to explain what was funny to a blank stare. Also, having worked all night (3rd shift) and staying up 4 hours into sleep time to read threads...not
stamp, read.
