Are you guys CRAZY for the SU! Catty Sneak Peek?
I have to say...there is some BIIIIIIG news with the In Color stuff. A little LATE in my book, and they should go BACK and offer them in the older In Colors....but hopefully it's a new trend for the future!

YES! In Color MARKERS! FINALLY, they LISTENED! Now...go back and make them for all the previous In Colors! You'd sell a TON! Don't miss out on this opportunity to make a $$$, SU! And I got REALLY excited about the ribbon and textured 8x11 CS, until it was mentioned that they MESSED UP the pricing on the PDF! Too bad...so sad! That took $70 off my order though!
I just cannot get over the prices of their stamps...they are going up & up. The sentiment stamp set looked super cute - but WOW over $30 for it? Are you kidding me?
I can get some wonderful Hero Arts stamps for $15 - and it's just as many sentiments.
I still love SU! - but mostly for their paper & accessories. Their stamps are just getting too pricey.
I am super excited about the IC Stampin Write markers and the polka dotted IC ribbon-now I just need a benefactor to buy it all for me- LOL! Overall, I am super psyched!

Amen! I will not feel like I don't have a "complete set" and I really am a girl who needs to have complete sets of things. It's only 18 markers, You're right they'd make a ton!

100% on board with you here! I can get SOOOO much more for my stamping $$$ elsewhere as far as stamps go. SU! is just too darn expensive when companies like Hero Arts, A*Muse, Papertrey Ink (especially PTI....THEY price their ribbons, buttons, CS, PP, and stamps RIGHT!), GinaK, Stamping Bella....
I'm STILL one that thinks they should offer an unmounted option...for less! I think they would be SURPRISED @ the sales.
Well seeing that most Amuse stamp sets start at 6.00 the one sentiment set has 24 stamps in it which would make it much more expensive through Amuse. Just saying. I think the set is reasonable for 24 stamps.
I was THRILLED with the new In-Color offerings, but I only ordered one stamp set (I'm hobby so I don't feel the need to get stamps to demo)...Circle Circus. The other stamps didn't scream "BUY ME!" Maybe I'll feel different after seeing some eye candy with them, but for now, I'll just be content with the in-colors and one new stamp set.
Where are you finding out your sneak peeks? Is this available only to demos? I'd like to see what's new too? please share. :-)

You're correct...A*Muse is a little on the higher side, but they offer clear stamps that are cheaper. I guess I like that so many companies are out there to purchase from...and they seem to be more flexible. SU! DID start offering SOME single stamps, which I think was a step in the right direction. Hopefully they'll keep listening to their CUSTOMERS and implement some of our suggestions! (Hint, hint....OLDER In Color marker sets....you WOULD make $$$, I can guarantee it!)

I hear ya on that. I am not an AMuse fan myself - just not really my style. They are cute though.

I think Amuse makes cute wood mounted stamps, but in no way are they more affordable than SU. I just get a little tired of people talking about how expensive SU is, and then comparing it to clear stamps when they aren't remotely the same type of product. And, if you compare the price per stamp to most wood mounted stamps they are the same or better priced.
I'd be really surprised if they go back and add In Color markers for the retired colors (though I've been really surprised many times in my life!)--but I'm glad to hear they're offering them for the new colors--also 8.5 x 11 textured cardstock.
I too have been asking and asking that they offer an option to buy unmounted stamps--cheaper, greener, and less storage. I wish they would offer it and see--seems easy enough to offer both options and let customers choose.
I also removed all the polkadot ribbons from my order as $9.95 is just too steep..I also saved a lot by doing that. A big error on their part...I wonder if anyone was able to get it for the price they listed? I just cant see paying $10.00 for one roll of ribbon...I might pick them up later one at a time...the Markers are the biggest news...YEEHAH!

that's a good point. Although I can honestly say that I see no difference in the quality of a SU! wood mounted stamped image vs. a high quality (i.e. Hero Arts, PTI, etc.) clear stamp. And if I can get just as nice of an image without having a wood block, than I'm all for it. (just a personal preference - I'm sure there are many that prefer wood).
I guess it's not so much an issue of SU! being too high in price, rather them not responding to supply/demand. There are far more companies out there now with just as high quality stamps, much lower on price. It's definitely caused me to re-think my stamp selections as there is just a lot of variety out there now.
I'm never a big fan of the in colors (don't like "falling in love" with something I can't restock) - these guys are SO different from the current in colors. Will continue to resist the fad, though
Am excited to see all the new stamp sets! We really have to wait another month, ugh!

I agree with the unmounted - I'd love it if SU started offering that option. However, I disagree that they are more expensive when you compare them to other wood mounted stamps. I do buy singles from other companies, but I also like the sets that coordinate so well together.
I think it is a great thing that SU really listened to us in coming out with the in color markers. I really hope the new catalog shows more of our wishes were heard as well!
I'm not sure which is meaner - that only the demos get to see the sneak peek or that there are threads like this one that show off the fact that only demos get to see and tease the rest of us!

Hey, there has to be some advantage to being a demo -- otherwise why would anyone sign up? ;) Advance notice of new product before the general public sees it is a perk of being a rep for *any* company, not just direct-sales papercrafting. Want the sneak peeks, become a demo!

I couldn't care less about SU's new catalog. Perhaps if they started offering a more diverse line of images, I would look forward to seeing their new catalog. But as it is, I kind of groan every time I get invited to a party because I find so little in their catalog to tempt me.
Anybody able to see the sneak peak now??? I am a demo and have been trying all afternoon but I don't see it anywhere on the website.
Are they having that much trouble or is it me not finding it? Help!
