Default Xyron machine?? TFS??

Hi,
What does a Xyron machine do? I saw one at Michaels the other day and saw it mentioned in the techniques site. It was major expensive!

Also, I cannot remember where to find the meanings of some of the shortform words used. One is TFS. What does this stand for?

Thanks,
From Denise

With a xyron machine you can laminate, make stickers, magnets, etc. If you go to search and type in "acronyms" you should get all threads regarding this question.

If you use a 40% off coupon at Michaels, it's not so bad, lol. I am NO help because I have FOUR xyrons... a 1.5", 2.5", 5" and 9"!! I use them ALL. The two I use most often though, are the 1.5 and 5" ones. Primarily for adhesive purposes. I keep a laminating cartridge in my 9" one.

They really are so, so handy to have around!

Xyron is a great tool. I wore my first one out cause I used it so much. Just picked up a new one at Michaels last Sunday with a 40% off coupon. Depending on which model you get, it is a sticker maker at it's most basic, all the way up to sticker maker/laminator/magnet maker for the top of the line model. I love it for getting good adhesive coverage on things that need more "sticky" then typical. It will cover the whole surface of the item you put through it with adhesive - either permanent or repositionable, depending on what cartridge you have in. It's just a great tool

Xyron is wonderful. I found it to be far more affordable by going to the Xyron website.

I found my 900 for around $50, with refill and shipping! Just google "xyron" and you won't believe the results.
