I love that! Too sweet! I wish I had something as meaningful or original to say about my name but I don't. My first name is Jimmi (yes, I'm a girl & no my mom didn't want a boy:cool: ), middle name starts with a "P" and my last name is Mayo. Sorry, I'm no fun
I have three daughters whose first names start with K- Kristen,Kayla,Kellie
and it's easy to remember.
Pam
Hi Pam! I too have three "K" daughters...Kari, Kassidy & Kamaron! (and a son, Zack!). I'm not too original with my SCS name either, Karla, born in '56 (hitting the big one in October!). All my life I've been "karla...with a 'k'", so I did it to my girls!
This is the only place I use "Stamperose" which came together from the fact that I love and do a lot of stamping (for 8 yrs now) and I love roses. I have over 200 roses, many of them antique (heritage) roses from the 1700's & 1800's. I propagate the roses, but unlike the cards, which I give away, I sell my roses (to finance my stamping hobby!)
My neighbor gave me the nickname Kerilou when we moved here, into my Grandma's house, 7 years ago. My given name is Keri Rae, but she had to be different, and it stuck. Now Kerilou is my name on all the message boards, and when I signature my cards!

My user name is very boring I know. I also think it carries a jinx. I notice a lot of threads die after I post to them. So as a warning I am posting here and hoping it doesn't kill this thread.

No worries....I will post;)
I have two kids, Will and Lauren (whom we nicknamed LoLo)So Will & Lo!
All I can say is Good Cheri and Good Bev would never chunky dunk and they would never ride on the back of a convertible at 2:00 a.m. with nothing on from the waist up!
Too Funny! I guess I'd fall into the bad category but since I only know of one Nonda.....me......there doesn't need to be a distinction!
It's just me! Leslie Springer. I could never think of a neat sign on name. this way I don't forget! I tend to forget all the time. That is why there are post it notes all around the kitchen!

i'm glad someone started this thread. i've often wondered about some of the user names...even asked the persons themselves about a few. it's neat to hear the different stories. mine also is not terribly imaginative. i'm a pianist and a piano has 88 keys. looking forward to more responses!
"Mutner" is a word that my son made up when he was learning to talk. Later, when I asked him what it meant, he said it was a "crazy or funny person." It has since become his nickname.
My last name is Cooper and people have always called my husband "Coop"-- it was only a couple of years ago that a friend of his dubbed me Coopette. I kinda like it, but it sounds really silly when you say it out loud!
Mine is pretty stupid. When I found SCS I was engaged to be married - so I didn't want to be stuck with my old name, but I didn't want to jinx the new name so I made a combination of Mackey (my old last name) and Bradley (my new last name.
I love to scrap hense the "scrappin" and "tica" is my 1st cat's name........in japanese tica means grey elephant.....indeed she is grey and working on being an elephant. I love to take pictures of her and my other 2 furbabies, but I thought that scrappinticadigitcatus would be too long......(tica. digit. catus.) But she was the 1st and so she gets the privilege.
I have a friend named Cheri, and she's the good one -- to tell us apart when we are all together, my other friends call me the bad one. So we have a Good Cheri and a Bad Sherry (and we have a Good Bev and Bad Bev). All I can say is Good Cheri and Good Bev would never chunky dunk and they would never ride on the back of a convertible at 2:00 a.m. with nothing on from the waist up!
Well, basically... I have an addictive personality and stamping (rather, buying stamping stuff) was no exception for me, so I wanted Addicted in my user name, and RidiculouslyAddicted just kinda rolled off my tongue nicely!

My user name used to be my license plates to show support for the new Disney theme park they were going to build in Northern Virginia. I even sent a letter with a picture to Micheal Eisner to show my support. Unfortunately, the park was never built. That was in 1994. I just changed my license plates last year. But I kept it as a screen name. 0

Mine is pretty obvious. I consider being a mom a full time job. When I stamp its MY TIME. Something I do for ME(and of course whom ever recieves my work!) But it makes me happy. I think we all deserve time to do what we love.
9 years ago, a friend and I were chortling over internet monikers and I mentioned that it seemed like *everybody* was "Stamp Queen".
My friend was thumbing through a children's book, "The Jolly Postman", and in this delightful book was a letter to Cinderella, HRH (Her Royal Highness).
My friend's eyes lit up: "I've GOT IT!!! You can be Her Royal Rubberness!!!!"
Total giggle fits.
But, the name stuck, and became HRR on the end of my first name.
Of course, now I hafta 'splain all the time what it means, cuz folks think it stands for Human Relations/Resources or whatnot.
Non-stampers are always somewhat "horrified", and naturally, don't "get it". I just try to assimilate--ahem, er, enlighten them--about the world of rubbah.
Resistance is futile! ;)

I'm just a Jenny (never a Jennifer - although the principal in my school [where I work not go] can't seem to get it right and either can a few others) but it can be confusing I guess since Jennifer was at least a top 5 name when I was born. Anyway Alia is a family sur-name that ended up being my middle. Pronounced like the hip hop singer Aaliyah. The whole thing isn't very original. Maybe next time I'll do better. My DH keeps calling me StampinJenny and it gets on my nerves but I think I would have done that if I hadn't already gone with my standby.
Well mine isn't very original either. My given name is Charlotte which I love, but when I was younger, most people I was introduced to couldn't remember Charlotte and they would call me Carla, Cheryl, Carol just about anything that started with a "C". One of my old friends boyfriend finally dubbed me with the name Charlie, so I changed the spelling and made it more feminine hence Charlee. Charlotte was already taken when I found SCS so I went with Charlee.
