I'm looking for, but can't find, information about World Cardmaking Day and in particular,

a) any event or challenge happening here at SCS


b) history of why we have a WCD.

World Cardmaking Day was started by Paper Crafts Magazine, which is no longer in print.

We always have an event in October inspired by WCMD - we started HYCCT on WCMD, as a matter of fact. This year, in October, we are having Falliday Fest.

I have been seeing the Falliday Fest posts but I was just letting it go over my head since I generally ignore seasonal themed challenges, unless it's global. I'll go and have a look at it and see what it is all about. I'm all about Springtime here, lol.

Just FYI- a number of stamp companies will have blog hops and challenges tomorrow for it. I just saw Quietfire mention a hop with prizes.

Thanks gregzgirl and wavejumper. I was looking for something happening here. I'm staying away from the heavily branded hops. I was looking for something more evergreen, inclusive and communal. 😊

I usually go to my Lay Dominican meeting on the 1st Saturday of the month, but she is sick and I don't drive, and my hubby has to work.
