Default work secret santa

ok everyone. I come to you for advice because you all always have such good ideas.... this is my first year in the secret santa at work but it's a little different I don't know who will be getting my gift...it needs to be under $20 and have a little poem or ditty on it describing what's inside...

I have no clue what to do...it could be for a man or a woman! PLEASE HELP ME!

Sandra

It depends on where you work/what type of people you work with. Some secret santa things I've seen do well in the past are: swiss army knives, USB keys, movie passes, gift cards, chocolate, cute puzzle games, tupperware (esp fridge smarts & rock n serve's). Once you decide on the item I'm sure you can get more help with the ditty and a cute way to stamp it!

Look at this site - they have cute ideas for survival kits and maybe something like that could be adapted for what you need:

thanks for the ideas... I work in an office where I'm the youngest being 22 and most are in their late 30's to early 60's.

I like the idea of a christmas survival kit are there more to choose from than just that one ... I'd like something to be more unisex than that one.

My 2 cents - I think the movie tickets are an awesome idea! Who doesn't like going to the movies? If you have a AAA membership you can get them discounted. (at least you can around here...)

I like the paint can movie night in. That would be a hit with anyone of any age I think! Add a couple of Blockbuster gift cards, microwave popcorn, couple of cans of soda maybe and a bunch of candy. I'd love to get that for Christmas!

when in doubt, these are ALWAYS so well received, I don't know why I don't just eliminate the hassle and just stock up on these for all those "don't know WHAT to buy for" folks, UKWIM?!!!

Most excellent suggestion!

Sorry--my poetry skills are sorely lacking.

Good luck, tho!

Are they going to reject the gift if it happens NOT to come with a poem?
