Question Window sheet

Saw a few cards using window sheets. What are you using? Couldn't find an explanation. Thanks

My first suggestion is using the window sheets from Stampin' Up. They are $2.95 (I think) for 3 sheets. My second suggestion is using transparency sheets, you can find them at Wal Mart or Office Max. But they usually average out to be about the same price, except when you buy them by the 100 pack. I'm not sure how thick they are, but I do know the Stampin' Up ones are perfect. The uses for these are endless. Just don't forget to use Stazon. My question is, can you emboss these sheets??? Anyone??

Those sheets are $1 each? I'll have to check them out at W-mart next time i'm there to avoid the shipping cost.

I have used overhead projector transparency sheets from the office supply store. They work just fine.

I use the overhead projector transparency sheets too. They aren't crystal clear like the sheets from Stampin Up, but for the price....they work great for me.

This card used the transparency from the office supply store: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

I just read a hint in another thread that you can emboss on transparency sheets meant for laser printers. These sheets are designed to go through a higher temperature. I just bought some of these at office depot for $0.50 each, but I have not tried embossing on them yet. If I get to it tonight I'll report back on the results.
