Default Is Wild West Alpha worth $40 plus tax and S & H?

I love this set but I am having a hard time justifying its price. Do you think it is really worth it?

I narrowed down my list of stamps to:
Merry, Merry I just love the retro look of it.
Moose you Love him!
Good dog
Wanted
Bronc Buster
Startstruck
Doodle this
Illuminations
Short and Sweet
All Holidays

I guess you'd have to decide if this is a set you would use ALLOT! That's how I would justify the cost. If I wanted it for only one project I would probably just ask someone for some stamped images, kwim?? Good luck your list doesn't look to bad!! lol

That's how I would justify it as well. If I know I can use a set (any set) over and over for many different projects that I will go ahead and get it. But if it's just for one little thing, then I will come up with something else to use. That's a pretty steep price!

I love it too but have decided against buying it (i reserve the right to change my mind and buy it later! ha!). I think that it is a very trendy font and in a year or so I won't use it so much anymore. I plan to use some fonts that I downloaded off the internet that are similar to get my "fix" of this particular trend for now.
(now you should all be shocked that someone actually posted a "don't buy it" in a "should I get this" thread!)

I am a mega-huge fan of this alphabet. And since my other fav was retired (Whimsical) I do think it is worth the money. It willalways look good with Wanted and Bronc Buster, so that is a pairing you can always count on.

I also have lots of contacts in the "horse world" so I know I will use this type of font for lots. Which is part of the reason it makes sense for me.

I agree with the person who said that you have to decide if it is something you will get $40 worth of use out of.

Here is a link that I posted in a different thread. I had been searching for a alpha like the Wild West set, so I found this link, but I also found the small wood mounted set at Mike's and also Impress carries the small wood mounted set. HTH

I love it and will probably get it, but it's one I will wait on for a while just to make sure it's a trend that I won't get tired of.

I just ordered it. I know I plan on using it a lot for my son's Scrap-book. He's my little cowboy so it will fit. Something also screams I need to stamp out Wal-Drug with that style of alphabet (one of our stops on summer vaca!)
