With firefox you are allowed to have several windows open within one window. You have tabs that you can switch between. I don't know what it does to the servers when I have several tabs going, but it sure is nice
I have had firefox for over a year and I love it! No more IE problems

I do it by either right-clicking and selecting "open link in new tab" from the pull-down menu that appears, or just by clicking with my scroll wheel. If neither of these work for you, I would guess you have an older version of firefox that doesn't have a lot of options automatically tweaked, and would suggest you download the latest version and install it over top of your current version.
I LOVE getting comments on my cards - so I try to comment on as many as possible. I have a 4mo that I'm usually holding when I'm at the computer which limits my comments as it's more difficult to type w/ one hand! I was able to comment on about 100 cards today tho which felt great - I haven't been in the gallery much lately so I needed to make up for everything I've missed!!
Is there a list somewhere of what title you earn with so many comments? I always wondered how that worked.
Yes... if you go back to the main list of forums. In the "Start Here" forum is a thread "What is a CARDSTOCK COLLECTER???" It is a "sticky" thread so it's always near the top.

I agree that there are sooooo many great cards that don't get the attention (comments) they truly deserve. I know that because I am a very big participater in the weekly challenges, that I mainly seem to check the other cards from that challenge and try to comment on them (all of them) Then if there is time left after that (not usually) I go to todays additions and work BACKWARD through them to get the "older" posts. I know how much I love getting comments and I really do get a LOT of joy from leaving comments for others. It is such a simple thing to do, and a big thrill for the recipient! We all need validation and I, for one, am so glad to give it when I can!! ( I love getting it too!)

Since I participated in the recent VSN, I realized that I spend more of my time in the forum and resource section of this site. I check out links that people post in their comments and I do try to post a comment (but like many before me have said, it sometimes takes an eon). I will definitely comment more, though. Some have mentioned sensitivity to lack of comments and I will definitely keep that in mind! I know I like comments, so the same goes for others!
I want to say thank you to those people who have commented on my cards. I posted for the first time today and have gotten four comments. I appreciate the kind words.
Somedays the server is just so stinkin' slow. I try to visit the gallery daily, but when it's super slow, there's just no way. I try to play catch up during late nights.
That's what I would do too - when I was up late I'd go nuts in the gallery and post tons of comments b/c the site would be amazingly fast! But now that the baby is starting to sleep through the night (YAY - and keeping my fingers crossed that I'm not jinxing it!) I'm not up as late anymore to do it (well except for tonight! up late after watching a movie w/ DH). I'm trying to take some time here and there to pop in tho and check things out and comment as much as I can
I find the first few cards I comment go very fast then it slows down so much I give up. I have tried the refresh button also. Anyways, all the cards are great and its the highlight of my day checking them out. Soon it'll be cottage time and I'll have withdrawal as I don't have a computer at the lake. This site is still my favorite, great cards and people.
