Oh, and by the way, SU did come to Europe, but NOT to Holland, only France, Germany and the UK. Poor us little Dutch girls. Anyone wants to come and give a demo here?
Eveline.
I'm an Icelander married to an American. We live in North Carolina now but we lived in Iceland before we moved here.
I've been all over Europe and I've lived both in Norway and Sweden. I love Norway, I lived in Bergen....it's the most beautiful city I've lived in!
I have been to Holland but spent most of my time on a train, I flew from Iceland to Holland and took a train to Belgium and from there to Luxemburg.
Here's my DS' website (it's for my family in Iceland to watch him grow) http://sylvandagur.barnaland.is/

Hello from Poland! i guess I'm the first Polish in this thread! I'm glad that soo many europeans are here! SCS is one of my favourite site, and I often visit it looking for inspiration, I wish a would live in US to have opportunity buying such great stamps and stuff, here in Poland it's almost imposible to get stamps, scrapbook suppliers are VERY rare, and it's hard to get lovely papers, stamps, ink, ribbons and so on. But of course I'm proud to be Polish girl and try to create with all that I have and what I sometimes buy abroad (but it's extreely expensive for me, as I'm student and don't have o job), I invite all of you to visit Poland, it's no such well known as France Italy or Spain, but in my opinion it's fantastic place to spent holidays I attach few photos of some interesting places nearbay my town,
Castle in Moszna
Center of Krakow
Tatry (mountains)
I am American. I have seen stamps by Magnolia stamps called Tilda and have totally fallen in love with them.
Does anyone have a link as to where they are available in the UK or anywhere?
Hi there. My husband is also dutch, left holland when he was 11, so still speaks dutch fluently. He has been here in NZ for over 20years now though. He is doing up a Morris Minor traveller too!! He he, he would probably enjoy talking to you and your husband, so PM me if you want to chat with him.
Thanks FubsyRuth,
I got the e-mail link for the Tilda stamps. Now if I can just figure it out, I will order my favorite!
Love your cat. I have 2 cats--Cricket & Willow

Miss all of them...My DH is traveling to Spain this summer and I wish I'd come along!!! Oh well....
I am a Dutch girl living in The Hague. I have been on SCS for I think more than a year now and got to know some people already. I originally am a scrapbooker but discovered stamping and now I am totally hooked. I love TAC, SU and off course those adorable Magnoliastamps. Still learning every day.
I used the link to the web-site for Magnolia Stamps. Could have bought all of them on the spot! I just got 3 to start!
My biggest passion is and always will be -scrapbooking- but I also like to stamp. Stamp a lot on my layouts.
So Thanks for the tip.
Stamp On!
last weekend I was in Belgium (Brussels, Antwerpen) and the Netherlands, near Den Haag, in Noordwijk aan Zee, and wonderful tulip garden Keukenhof, amazing! My friends live in Hague, one day I will visit them.
I'm Dutch, living in Doetinchem, which isn't too far from Arnhem.
I've been stamping for some time now, but buy most of my supplies online as we don't have many craftshops over here.
It's nice to see such a mixed group!
Vronica;)
I needed some help ordering Tilda stamps from Magnolia Stamps. I did put in an order, but it has not gone through yet. Still waiting for the bank authorization. I can't get ahold of them. For what ever reason the e-mails will not go through to them. I want to write a message to a real person, but I can't reach them. HELP
I am from Scotland, and started stamping just over a year ago. Wish I could find a stampin up demo in my part of the UK - I have heard there may be one near me but never been able to find out contact information.
crilcketsmom - try this site for Tilda Stamps - Joanna is one of the UK's most highly respected crafters and her customer service is second to none and she does ship overseas.
I can't post the link for you as I don't have enough forum posts to be allowed to put links into my posts yet. If you type into the address line on your browser the usual www followed by a dot then joannasheen then dot com that should get you there - or google Joanna Sheen
Thanks for the info. The only problem is that they already have my credit card ##. Lovely! But I will try your sugestion also.
I would LOVE to visit Scotland someday. What a trip that would be.
hi, well i'm a dutch stamper too, so...HOI Nouk...
tot stempels.
Thank you for reviving this thread which I have never seen before! I'm American and live in Michigan but it is wonderful to read about people from other countries and I love the photos. Some day I hope to visit Europe. In the meantime, this thread is very special!!
This is my first day as splitcoaststampers, and i found this thread...
I'd love to go to the US someday, you have so many things we don't know in the netherlands, like Michaels, Target, and sooooo many craft stores...
Thought I'd say hi! What a great thread- love this site but kind of assumed that most people are in established groups and wondered how you get to know people. I'm from England and live in Liverpool. I have 5 children and after reading some of your replies am thankful we have such good craft resources ! ( although I'd love to visit Michaels and target too- Ayeene!). I love anything to do with paper! and love stamping and scrapbooking. I'm just about to start being a Stampin'Up demonstrator so I'm looking forward to the challenge but am a little nervous too! Xx
That's GREAT!! I'm sooo jealous!! We can't be demo, and i'd love to be one!! We officially can't even buy SU in The Netherlands...weird huh.
Anyway, i allready had some contacts in US, and i'm following a list of blogs, and that's how i came here... I'm also group member by yahoo groups, but the're mostly dutch groups, so that's different. And i follow many youtube channels...and they ALL speak about Michaels sales, etc. with great hauls, and much stuff we can't even get in The Netherlands at all...:(
180 sheets paperstacks is pretty normal in US, and costs are very low, in the netherlands are stacks max.48 sheets, costs are regularly around 23 euro. pffff, way expensive!
That's weird- how come you can't buy it in other countries? Can't it jus be shipped? I there were a bunch of you- you could order a load and share it all? Xx
We can buy SU products on Ebay. Mostly discontinued stampsets etc. But I wouldn't mind if it would be easier to buy SU. I love the fact that the products are so color coordinated. And I love the punches, and the stamps that go with the punches.
Eveline.
Hello fellow stampers. My name is Jan Marie and I am not officially born European; however I lived in Germany for 11 plus year. I also have a son, his wife and 2 fabulous grandsons that live in Davos, CH. Our youngest daughter is stationed in Heidelberg with the US Army.
I am married to and first generation American, Michael Leonard Caruso and his father was from where else...Italy...LOL
I am one of the co owners of Flourishes Stamps, a member company here. If you have not visited please do...we have very lovely classic images.
So do I have enough "Europea " to join ...You all have made me homesick for Europe. I have visited Poland, Holland, England, ---on an on..eleven years gives one a great opportunity to travel to many many countries throughout Europe. I do miss it and de eklenkelkinder.
I did bought some stampsets by ebay, but it's different... AND i got some contacts which help me getting some SU stuff...LOL
So i have a bunch SU stamps in the mean time, and some punches too! So i'm pretty happy. The're still 2 orders to come, both from US, with punches, stamps, dies, inks and papers.
But it would be great when we can buy easier and the complete range, Germany has a smaller range to choose from i've been told.
Oh, and by the way, SU did come to Europe, but NOT to Holland, only France, Germany and the UK. Poor us little Dutch girls. Anyone wants to come and give a demo here?
Eveline.
Boyo, see when I replied to this thread? In 2008 and guess what? SU did come to Holland in October 2012 and I signed up as a Demo in November. I love it!!! I'm currently playing with pre-ordered SAB products. Lucky me!
I'm from Frankfurt Germany. Thanks feline for posting again, so I could find this thread.
I really liked looking at where all of you live, so here's my pictures:
that's the old town in Frankfurt
this photo was taken on the Schlei a part of the Baltic Sea.
I'm a pretty new stamper and don't really have many stamps yet, mostly cheap clear stamps from department stores. But I try to get around that by printing many things out or painting it myself. Oh and I mustn't forget my trusty CraftRobo.
