Default Where to get magnetic plate and how to use it?

Hi, I'm new here. I'm a long time stamper, but I'm getting ready to make Christmas cards with a stamp and die set, which I haven't tried before. I have a Cuttlebug. I was thinking of just using washi tape to hold the dies in place over the images when I Cut, but then I heard a magnetic plate would work better.

So where do I get one? I heard some people were just buying magnetic sheeting at the craft store? Does it need to be stiff or can it be flexible? And what would be the plate (A, B, C, whatnot) combination when using a magnetic sheet?

Thanks for any enlightenment you can offer.

Here's a video: It is available on HSN: https://www.hsn.com/products/cuttleb...ng-mat/8029600

Mystie, slight hi-jack because I can't help you with the magnetic plate....but I am a lurker at another forum you belong to and every time I see your profile picture it makes my day because you remind me so much of my younger sister that I don't get to see very often. So when your picture comes up it just puts a smile on my face and it makes me feel like she is popping in for a visit.Okay back to the subject at hand.

Aw, that is the sweetest thing! I'm glad my face can make you smile! I have a baby sister I don't get to see very often, either.

This is from Amazon -- "Spellbinders Magnetic Spacer plate" for $7.49. I got one a few months back, and I love it. Totally keeps the die in place, which lets me make the most of the cardstock I'm cutting.
