Default Where can I purchase spiral binding like this???

My friend got this in a swap, but doesn't know who it came from so she can't ask about the binding. It is spiral binding (as you can tell) ... but it is TINY! The whole book is about the size of a standard card, I would guess the spiral binding is about 1/4" or so. Where can I find this for sale? We already checked at our office supply stores but they don't carry binding this small.

Thanks for any help.

I've seen the notebooks with that binding at dollar stores and Walmart...not sure you can buy the binding on it's own

Have you checked Viking.com ? They seem to have just about any other office supply out there!

I wanted binding done like that, so I went to Staples, they couldn't do it in the store, but said they would be able to send it out and have it done, I don't think it was too expensive either.

Fedex Kinko's can bind it for you. It's not that expensive either.

I don't know if it was someone here or from another list that I am on but they recommended Bonnie's Best Art Tools
http://www.coilconnection.com/Welcome.htm

The coil binding machine is a little spendy but I sure like them better than comb binding.

There is also Roll-a-bind. Marco's Paper has them for a pretty good price. Archiver's carrys them too.

I LOVE the Roll-A-Bind system. I paid $30 for it at my Archivers store. Actually, less with my 15% discount. It is so cool and easy!!!

If I'm not mistaken, you can have that done at Office Max.

I've seen it there but not sure if it is that small. And is fairly cheap.

I bought the binding system (Rubi-Coil) from Bonnie's Best Art Tools (www.coilconnection.com). It is a little bit pricey - but TOTALLY worth it in my opinion. If you are going to make a lot of books, it is worth it.

Lana sent me a little notebook like that and said she does them herself, so they probably have a binding machine of some sort.

You can purchase the binding system at www.everafterarts.com. You can also get the carl cutters there. If you are a Demo(SU!, CM, CTMH etc.) They give a 50% disc. At least they used to.

Is that LunarLana on SCS? If so, maybe Lana will see the post and let me know how she does it (ie w/ a machine or what)

Thanks!

Thank You for this information, I have to have one of theese!!!
I've been looking for a binding machine, but really wanted the spiral bound instead of the comb binding.
This is what I've been wanting for a long time!!

Also check out the templates for eyelets... they are neat.
The Tins are cool too!!

I would make a template of hole placement, then punch the holes into my book. Then take wire of your choice, wind it around a dowel so its nice and curved. Then feed it through the holes gently while twisting into place and voila - you just made your own spiral.

If you really want a rubi coil you can get it from www.film-source.net for $149 or $169 with a crimper and $24 in supplies. I love my! I am a teacher and like it much better to bind books than the comb binder.
