I have seen some really great stamps(and cards) on SCS and I often see that the stamps used come from TAC - is there a website that I can use or do they use demos like SU? Would be really grateful if some one would lead me in the right direction. One more question - Are the stamps UM or do they use wood blocks?
They are UM rubber stamps that use the Creative Cling and acrylic blocks. You can visit http://www.theangelcompany.net to find a demonstrator or you can speak with one of the Angels at SCS and they'd be happy to help.
There is now an online catalogue. It is at the demonstrators sites, called IsMyAngel sites. You can find these sites at the TAC website or they are in the sig lines of Angels here too.
I was just going to add to what Jana said. If you visit www.theangelcompany.net and click in the upper right corner of the home page, you can find "shop now." That will take you to a demo locator which will help you find a demo in your area if you're wanting face-to-face contact with a demo. Of course, you could also do what she mentioned and use one you're familiar with here at SCS.

One other point about finding and Angel through the Locator at http://www.ismyangel.net/Locator/ you may not get the closest Angel to you. If you are in fact looking for someone to use IRL, rather than just online please call 785-820-9181 Monday through Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (closed on Labor Day) and ask for an Angel through Customer Service. Only Angels with an eCommerce site (online shopping cart) will show up online, which could exclude an Angel right in your own town. But by calling you will be given the name of the Angel closest to you regardless of her online ordering status.
Note: Some of the "ismyangel" sites are down because of troubles we ran into over Labor Day so be sure to try tomorrow!
I have atleast one customer who still mounts her stamps to wood blocks and I've heard crystal laquer works well for that...but!! I encourage you to give the UM system a try! It's great for clean up and storage...and you still get a great stamped image!! The stamps from TAC are actual rubber (like SU) -- I mention it only because sometimes its confusing!
Eeck! One more point...darn, I wish there was an edit button!
By placing your order through a demo (versus just ordering online), you have the chance to earn free stamps. TAC gives you a free stamp with every $30 increment but NOT when you order online...this encourages folks to still work with a demo.
