i'm looking for little cello bags to put candy corn in so i can make some halloween goodie bags/toppers, where is a good place to get them? and cheap too!
Well, it all depends on how many bags you will need. You can always use your Michael's coupon and purchase them in the cake decorating section, or go to Hobby Lobby. If you need them by the case, you can go to clearbags.com. (I think that's it). Good luck!
The cello bags that SU sells are really a great value and are very durable. The small flat bags are perfect with a topper. You get 50 of them for 3.95. That's usually better than the craft stores. Plus, you get the demo to help you. I have two Creative Memories consultants who buy the cello bags from me for their workshops and open house favors because they like the value and quality.
The other option is the small "craft bags" that you can find at Walmart, Jo-Ann's and Michaels. They do come in a couple sizes, are clear and they have the reseable top. You can usually find them in the beading section. They are not as nice but they are economical if you are giving these to kids.
doh! thanks for reminding me that su sells the small size (uh, i'm a demo!) i forgot about those, i was thinking the smallest ones we have are the 8x5 ones. i'll just order them w/ my next order!
I just bought some from Hobby Lobby...I think they were 6x8, 100 for like 1.50. They also have smaller but only 50 per pkg and same price. The bigger are better I think because it gives you room to fold over under the topper. Yea I could have bought them from SU but need them sooner than 7 days plus a heck of alot cheaper.......
