Default When using a online template

like from Mirkwood, do you print it out on the paper you want to use, or use the printed image as your template? Thanks!

I've traced around it but have also printed in in lt gray and done it that way.
I like to do that especially if there are alot of score lines.

I have done both. But I do prefer to print it out on a piece of white cardstock and use that as a template this way I have no lines or marks on my finished item.

ditto on printing on white cardstock and tracing. This way I have the template to use again.

I also have used my small dry embossing tool to trace instead of a pencil as it leaves an indentation with no lines to erase.

I also print on white cardstock - usually GP because it is so cheap - and then keep the template for future use. I use a paper cutter and scor-pal, so I make small dashes at the end of the page where I need to cut, and a little dash where I need to score, that way there are not a lot of lines to erase, just a few small dashes. I do like the idea of using my stylus to emboss instead of trace like Stamphappy said - I will have to try that.
