Count me in. I don't know if my taste has changed or I feel the sets are "hokey" or "outdated".
Why oh why did I HAVE to have those sets?
I am toying with selling or trading.
Maybe another look at the gallery will help me choose.
Thanks for bringing this topic up~~~I felt alone :[
I have a lot of sets that I don't know what to do with....but as time goes on and I learn more, then I see the beauty of the stamp. I wish SU would include a blurb from the artist as to what they were thinking when they designed it. What is supposed to go where etc. Sometimes I wish they would come with instructions!
You should send them an email!!!! This would be AWESOME! And ever so helpful to those of us (I'm not alone, am I?) who see the fabulously creative stuff other people make and think, Gee, how come I can never come up with stuff like that?
I really like how the PaperTrey site has tip sheets to go along with their sets, as well as the gallery. I haven't bought from them yet, but I will. SU is getting rid of their idea sheets (which oddly I never found very helpful, go figure!), but couldn't they do something online for us, ahem, creatively challenged types?
Thanks to the OP for bringing this up. It's so good to know I'm in good company!
bluelemon, thanks. That is the set I was looking for. I think I know why I was becoming disenchanted with that set. Color selection. The cards looked cheap. Okay, will have to rethink colors...must find the site that shows coordinating colors.
Only a week later and I reread my last post. So sorry if I offended anyone when I mentioned "cheap looking cards". I meant MINE not any I saw in the gallery (blushing and feeling foolish). Everyone is nice here so I know you won't be throwing ink pads at me!!! lol
I bought Big Pieces out of the mini and hate it! Have got rid of it to someone whose style will make the best of it, in fact I hate all those circle ones, I just can't make a card that satisfies me with them 'cos they are just not my style! However my list is endless, never ever liked In Full Bloom either but made some cards other people thought were pretty so it is in the eye of the beholder.
Spring Garden is my nemesis....I can't get it to work..I have looked through galleries...I think about getting rid of it but then I like the sentiments and the butterfly
I sold a few sets for half price at a stamp camp that my upline had. (I asked her first if it was ok.) So I put the sets on the counter and people were practically fighting over them. They went really fast. And I started having second thoughts about selling them! I was thinking, Hmm, maybe I gave up on them too soon. LOL at myself!

I'm a little embarrassed to say that I can't seem to figure out how to use Carte Postal. I made a huge effort to mess with it on Friday, and came up with an OK card. But I remember when it came out in the mini the gallery was full of great cards with this set.
