COPICS!! I figure that's something I can make the list for and DD will order for DH since he's selectively computer illiterate. Also a new office chair for my stamp room and dh always gets me a Hobby Lobby Gift Cert.
Last year ALL I asked for was a UM stamp credenza, I had it all designed, all they had to do was build it. Well, DSIL bought the lumber and cut it but that's as far as it went. But for my BD in June DH finished it...better late then never. So I've added a label maker to my list to label the 54 trays in my storage area.
I have been a (mostly) good girl all year. I would like a Janome sew mini; copics; cat's pajamas, my favorite things, rubber romance & verve stamps; rectangle and/or oval nestabilities; and a pony.
I always try to put low-medium priced craft items on my list and also ask for cash (so I can get the pricier stuff without DH having heart problems) but this year, because his company will be closing his location sometime in 2009 (causing us to probbaly have to relocate into a much smaller living space) my list will include things to protect my investments (so reinkers for all the inkpads I own) and small embellishments/accessories that will make it easier and more fun to use the 100+ stamp sets I own (Stickles, brads, Twinkling H20s).
Again, I am trying to avoid big and/or pricy items even though there is plenty that I want if I have to place them in storage or sell them in a year what would be the point, kwim?
Thanks for the reminder to finalize my list so he can start shopping!
A CropADile; Nesties; and I am on the fence regarding the Copics. Just don't know if I need them since I have the whole set of Prismas and the SU markers. I also want manicures and pedicures (gotta love gift certificates!)
DH loves to surprise me so will NEVER EVER get me what I ask for ---- consequently I will be buying myself some COPICs for my present to myself! So there!

There you go! Smart idea.

Most of my friends want Big Shots. (Many of them aren't waiting) I bought the Big Alphabet, so I'm thinking a nice Go-Go Boots alpha set of dies would be nice.
Most of my friends want Big Shots. (Many of them aren't waiting) ...
I couldn't wait, either. After reading this thread, I went out and bought myself a Keurig coffee maker. And after reading the Photography forum, a digital SLR camera is on my new list. SCS isn't just costing me $$ in stamping supplies.
I'm going to ask for some more shelving for my craft area. My dh is not a handy guy, so he will have to hire someone to make them and put them into the walls for me.
I also would like one of those Marvy? curvy cutter things with the glass cutting mat to go with it.
ScorPal
stickles
Black & White StazOn
StazOn Cleaner
Nestabilities
Googly Eyes
SU Crab & Company stamp set
SU Sandy Shells wheel & hanlde
SU brads
What I got instead was a dishwasher because ours broke.
What a bummer! Those pesky appliances always having to go out at the wrong time. Maybe there will be a surprise on Christmas morning! Hope so.

What I really want and what I'll get are 2 different things. What I really want is some nesties and a scorepal....I have neither. But things are really tight this year. I think we are forgoing anything for ourselves so we can get the kids something. I may get a pair of jeans because I am in need. But that's ok. It's more important to me that the kids,( they're all n their 20's), have a nice Christmas.
A Bind it All would be sweet. I got a raincheck from Hobby Lobby and gave it to my husband with instructions for my birthday. The sales clerk told him to wait for the new pink one! Ugh, I was really hoping for that blue one on November 9! So hopefully, he will not be deterred for a Christmas gift.
I already bought myself the Bind-It-All (Thanks, Honey!) and I also want the Crop-A-Dile Big Bite. I also left handy my wish list from the SU! catty and my passwords so that I get the credit for what he buys!
Also for anyone wanting nesties, I resisted getting the small sets to go with all my large sets. I soon found out why you do need both sets to work well for layering. So tell loved ones to buy you both sets of each, lol.
My DH and I are getting a new hot tub cover this year and we have a 13 yr old son so there won't be much left after that. My MIL tries so hard to get something you really want so I will probably end up with money to pick out my own because when I say things like twinkling h2os or basic grey paper she doesn't have a clue!
I'm trying not to ask for too much stamp/scrapping stuff. DH says that's always the bulk of my list. But, I've saved up to buy myself a Big Shot, and in December, that's what I'm going to purchase! Hehehe.
Location: New Jersey....but born and raised in TEXAS originally.

Christmas List
Just thought I'd mention something that would be a great present because I have one....a clamp-on magnifying lamp similar to the one in the attached link:
I have only been making cards for less than a year; before that, I made jewelry and bought a lamp like this for beading. This lamp is wonderful for seeing close up when using markers, chaulks, etc.
Lots of fun stuff on these lists. I have the same problem Tessa does. My family isn't into online buying. I got some ideas though. Thanks for all the responses girls.
A Cricut expression - it was too much to ask for him to get it so we made a deal & I'm paying half. Costco has a deal on one so I ordered it this morning and will have it in about a week. Now, he's thinking I should wait until Christmast to open it ... I thinking he may not make it to Christmas if he thinks I'm going to wait to open that box ... just kidding, well, hmmmm, yea, just kidding, really, I'll let him live...
an atc gun
all the nestabilities
the nikkon s60 in black
and the holly sizzix die
and xyron 9 inch
200 giFt card for tac ( so I can Become a demo)
and another gist card for SU (for obvious reasons)
and about 10 cricut catridges
su By SEA
but I would give it all up if my hubby says I can keep my dog (he Hates him)

Reason: screwed up
A good work light. I've moved my crafting area and I have great daytime light, but at night it all shadowy and dark.
I have a dark craft room even during the day, so bought a 'daylight' light bulb for my regular celing light fitting. It is really good - I recommend one. :-D
My christmas list consists mainly of books and dvd box sets, but crafty items are the new labels 2 nestabilities, some more copics and lots of SU goodies, but I'm going to have to order those myself so will probably get money for them instead.
To be honest there's not a great deal I want, except a new laptop but I KNOW I won't get that for christmas.
Normally, my husband and I confine each other to just a few gifts that will fit in each other's stockings. That usually means a new CD, a new DVD, a big Symphony candy bar(my dh gets me one every Christmas!), and some other odd item. Last year, he managed to fit a crop-a-dile in there! The year before, he fit in an entire sheep! (okay, it was a card from Heifer International, but it was what I'd asked for that year!).
I'm really thinking that I'd like a Big Shot and/or Cuttlebug this year. Not sure that it'll fit in the stocking, though!
 All you need to do is get a bigger (much bigger) stocking - really stretchy!!!
I have been a (mostly) good girl all year. I would like a Janome sew mini; copics; cat's pajamas, my favorite things, rubber romance & verve stamps; rectangle and/or oval nestabilities; and a pony.
Love,
Meg
A pony?! Good luck with that!
I just usually tell DH, "I'm buying, this, this, and that, now tell me Happy Birthday/Merry Christmas" - he does, and we're both happy!
