I made mine up as a little pun. For many of my user names in the past, I chose boring stuff, so this time I wanted to at least take a stab at something clever and stamping related. So when I post to any of your galleries, you can take my user name as an extra compliment - because your stuff is *look-ink good!*
Mine is a silly nickname I used call one of my little guys. He happened to be sitting on my lap as I was trying to sign up and I couldn't think of anything else creative at the time
Mine is what my brothers called me when we were growing up. My first name is Chrissie and they always like to tease me by saying "Sassy Sissy Prissy Chrissie!
UGH!

Yeah, that's right! LOL! Our so un-classy students were caught chanting during that game "Stand up, old people!" Nice...
Mine came about because several years ago, I was thinking about starting some kind of scrapbooking business and it was the name I came up with. Because, afterall, scraps happen when you paper craft. I thought it was clever at the time, but now I'm not so sure.
When my boss was installing some software package or other on my Mac about 15 years ago, a screen came up and asked for a user name, and he entered Wiggy. Guess he figured I was always "wigging out" or getting stressed, over something at work. Years later when my restless and squirmy 10 year-old was an infant, and my DH had to come up with an account name for our home pc, he used Wiggy because he thought of how "wiggly" Jimmy was.
When you have a very generic name like Barb Nelson, you need to work hard to come up with something original using your name. I started using babsnelson a few years ago. It's usually available so I keep using it!
You ladies from Purdue/IU - my daughter (Purdue) is married to an IU guy. She didn't speak to him for two days! Of course, she didn't remember when Purdue creamed IU - LOL
My avitar is our 10 yr. old Siberian Husky. Her registered name is our last name plus Siberian Storm. Much to my son's chagrin, I've always called her Stormy. I just couldn't call a puppy that precious by Storm! We're in Alabama, hence, Southern Storm. Not very groovy.. lol! Stormy

Hehe, this question comes up a few times a year. I admit, mine sounds weird, but it has a story. My sister nicknamed my son "Iki" (said the same as 'icky') when he was a toddler because his first and middle initials are IK; plus, he never liked getting his hands "icky". As a first time mom I looked forward to having some of those cute baby photos of messy kids after they have played in their food. Alas, not my son, he never liked to do that! I however, often get my hands 'icky' when I stamp. So, I'm ikimom.

My screen name, like several others, is my dog's name. It's such fun to see her little face pop up when I post to a thread or comment in the gallery. I notice lots of people also use their pets for their avatars, so I knew I was in "animal friendly" territory here.
Art is intended to provoke an emotion from a total stranger. If youve succeeded in this, consider yourself an artist. Paper Shanks Blog. Love me or hate me, you are still talking about me
Mine is my company name - I came up with it because I used to sell children's boutique items (hairbows, outfits, etc). Anyways I love love love shabby chic, so I thought shabby chickie too cute. And it stuck. Now I use it on everything ;)
Mine is my "grandma" name given to me when my first grandson was a baby and couldn't say grandma.
He is a handsome 6 ft tall 17-year-old now and it still melts my heart to hear him say "Bugga" in a deep baritone.
I live in Oklahoma so it became Buggainok.
That is sweet. My son couldn't say grandma either so he calls my mom "Frama" and now all the grandkids do. Well except for my nephew he calls her hunny because he hears my dad call her that. So she is either frama or hunny.
I am in love with Dr. Gregory House. I love intelligent non-PC men! I also think he would be a challenge to say the least! Truly just enamored with that show and Sela Ward is also my very favorite actress!
Mine is pretty simple - I live in Carmel, Indiana - my name is Sue and I am a Mom. (also an IU grad to the two other "Hoosier" posters. Married to a Purdue grad! So glad IU won this week!!!!!)

My name was just an off the wall choice. I had been outside cleaning out the birdbath, and when I came in and tried to choose a screen name, the two I liked were taken. So, I became birdbathlady. And today, in sunny California, the birdbath is frozen!!

Thank you for clearing that one up! I always wondered what it meant whenever I saw it! I thought, combined with your avatar, that you might have been an Olympic athlete!

OH, goodness sakes NO! Hahaha...I am a TERRIBLE runner!
Ever since I was young I loved beautiful paper. I would squirrel it away in my dresser and closet, much to my mom's tidy dismay. Then stamping came along 10 years ago--I have paper happily coming out my ears. Additionally, I am a gift wrapping fiend and everyone in the family hates opening my gifts because they are too pretty--even though I like them to tear off the paper in a crazy fashion. When I lived in New Zealand for several years, the folks their commonly used the phrase "I'm rapt about the xxxx." Rapt was a short version of rapture.
So when I joined SCS PaperRapt (the pun intended) was perfect for me!
Mines pretty boring as well. I love to stamp and I live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, UP North far from a lot of things, hence the Stampin_U.P._North.
I was always (and still am) into fairies and pixies - collecting little figurines, cute pictures, and the like. After I got into stamping, I realized I liked making cards a lot more than scrapbooking, so I combined the two into the card pixie. Though now that I've been here awhile, I think I probably should have left the *the* off!
