Default What's the difference in colors?

Can anyone describe the difference between true thyme and always artichoke? It's kind of hard to tell from the catalog. I'm also wondering what the difference is between basic brown and chocolate chip.
I use a lot of brown inks and I'm hosting a party tomorrow. I want to make sure I buy the right thing.

Basic Brown and Chocolate Chip are a bit different in color. But, Basic Brown is also waterproof. (I've never had any problem with Basic Brown when I watercolor.) So, if you want something water resistant for watercoloring, you may want the Basic Brown. Chocolate Chip is just great for stamping images in brown and on the brown papers. HTH a little. I feel a need for both.

When I watercolor I use Stazon in brown or black. How does Stazon brown compare with Basic brown?
I find I prefer the Stazon black to stampin up black because it tends to stamp darker without a purple look to it.

I would say that True Thyme has green tones similiar to Mellow Moss and Always Artichoke has richer green tones. There's a card in my gallery that has True Thyme paper against Always Artichoke Ink and you can see the difference. It's titled In Color 07'. Hope this helps

I think always artichoke is a little bit more green while true thyme has more brown.

Yes, I was thinking the same thing after I went back and looked at the colors again

If you like browns............try Close to Cocoa. I like it better than chocolate chip because it's a softer brown. Personal preference.
