Default What's the best way to store SU stamps in their case?

I have my Stamp sets in their cases in one of those rubbermaid containers on wheels but I don't like it. What else can I do with those? I have a whole wall about my table that is empty, can I do something there?
Thanks!

I would put up a shelf....I store mine in the cases on their sides so that I can read the label on the end of the box.

I store mine on a set of shelves I bought at Walmart for 21.00....I store them five or six high on three shelves...I can read the names and they are easy to access and keep handy! :0

I have a book shelf (ok 2 bookshelves) full of stamp sets. The sets are sorted by the size of the plastic storage box they came it. Hope that helps you.

I didn't realize the value (importance) of keeping the plastic cases for the first several sets of SU! stamps I bought. Any ideas on other storage options?

Thanks!
After reading these posts I am wondering if I could find shelves to actually hang on the wall.
hummmm

A couple of L brackets and board or a formica covered board makes a great shelf. I store mine in their cases on edge. It makes it very quick to find that way.

Default Shelves

I found stacking wooden shoe shelves at target that fit most of the sets perfectly on their sides. I stacked these (so far 2 units) on the far end of my table next to the wall and it works perfectly.

believe it or not, I store mine in a closet under my stairs. The closet is only a few feet away from my stamp area. There is a shallow shelf on each stair that is the perfect depth for the stamp sets. I love being able to open the closet and see all my stamp sets very clearly. It's also nice to have them at eye level. I used to store them in a cabinet under my desk, but crouching down to try to see them got very annoying. If I didn't find the closet shelves to use, I was considering storing them in shallow shelving units right on the wall.
I hope you find a way that works for you!

Mary
P.S. I like to print white labels with the names of the sets on them to attach to the side of the case. The labels that come with are nice, but sometimes hard to view (since they are clear).
good luck

I store mine in the 3-drawer carts from Wal-Mart (K-Mart or Target) They fit really nice and the aren't stacked on top of each other, rather upright like file folders...so it doesn't matter whether it is rubber side up or down. And you can fit alot of stamps inside of them.
