Talking What's the best thing in the new catalog????

I'm sorry, but I'm still waiting for mine. Hopefully fingers crossed I'm getting it tomorrow! So in the mean time I thought I would find out what's everyone's favorites. What's the first thing you are ordering. I know I want to get some of the new in colors for sure and can't wait to see the rest!

I'm absolutely in *love* with Bundled in Love and Punch Pals. A couple of must-have backgrounds for me, too!

The papers! And--- I never thought I would say this, but a lOT of the wheels!

I really like the bottom part of the pages that have all the embellishment numbers etc, so you don't have to HUNT for them!

I need to start making a LIST!

after only a quick glance through I liked Illuminations, the western stuff on page 89, the pretties kit, and the stamp and store.

The cropodile for over $40 is way off base, what were they thinking.

I just got my catalog today and have spent a lot of time getting acquainted with it this morning! My favorite new stamp set is probably Priceless, new color probably Soft Sky, new accessory the bling brads. And I love all the new patterned paper, especially Fall Flowers.

Really? Does it come in the case with all the eyelets and snaps? Or is this on it's own?

The CAD is all on its own ... but over $40.00 is the Canadian price I believe.

It's equitable- maybe a few bucks more than I've seen it most place. I guess you have pros and cons there. Can't use a coupon, counts towards hostess benefits.

Well, not having my own copy yet and ounly looking through my demo's, I have only a few in my memory back to go on. Mostly the stamps don't thrill me. I do like Baroque from the sneak peek samples, but in the catalogue itself, it didn't appeal to me for some reason. Good thing you talented people out there can make it work!

I love the textured CS, the new incolours, and probably the first set I will get is the Christmas Sleigh one. That is the type of stamp I like and I am disappointed in the selection. But there are a lot of cutesy and punny people who will buy those sets and I will like them on here, but not want to work with them myself.

DH bought me a CAD just last week from the LSS and it was 28 USD. I was happy to let him pay full price for a gift from a local small business.

Just on my first pass and I already love Block Party (p. 3, Sleigh Bells Ring (p. 41), Voila to go (p. 50), Big Celebrations (p. 56), Fabulous Flowers (p. 102), Happiness Background (p. 11, Totally Tabs (p. 130), Labelicious (p. 130), Sanded Background (p. 13, Short & Sweet (p. 140), Wonderful Favorites (p. 141), Pictograms (p. 142), and Absolutely Fabulous (p. 151).

I'm sure the more I look the more I'll love.

I just got mine tonight, and so far my list consists of:

the "in colors" paper and ink
batty for you
Jolliest time of the Year
Sealed with a Kiss
Wanted
Bronc Buster
Bronco Wheel
Starstruck
Bud Basics
Garden Whimsy
Fabulous Flowers (maybe)
Ginormous Flowers
Priceless
Happiness
So Happy
Dots are Hot (maybe)
Brocade Basics
Trimtastic
Pick a Petal
Tres Chic BG
Baroque BG
Posey BG
En Francais BG
Polka Dot BG
Flower Friend BG
Wonderful Favorites
Calendar
All Holidays
Simple Serif Mini Alpha
Most of the ribbons and papers

Nah, my list isn't long! I'm sure I'll weed a lot out, but I'm sure I'll add just as much when I see what can be done with some of the sets I'm on the fence about!

I noticed a huge Western theme throughout the whole catalog.. many nice flowers, etc. that have western fonts, sometimes I don't think they go together very well (like Fabulous Flowers... doesn't look like they go together, but I like the flowers). I also think they have some really cute sets for the little kids. It looks like there's a nice amount of realistic nature sets and a lot more masculine sets this time around too.
If you can't tell, I really like this new catalog!

Default OMGosh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can probably count on both hands and feet what I DON'T want. (And my car is virtually ready to break down. Sad!)

I'm going to have to get a second job if I want to get everything in 6 months....

This is a GREAT catalog!!!!!!!

I love all the scroll sets. And the new designer papers. The new ribbons look great! Loving Wing it too!! I find I have most of the Mini Catalogue sets already. I seemed to have made wise decisions throughout the year.

Can you believe it, the day after I got mine, I took it to work, intending to browse during my lunch break - needless to say, I LOST IT! My staff helped me tear the office apart for 4 days. This morning I contacted my demo to purchase another one. Later, when I returned to work, my precious catty was waiting for me! Still don't quite understand what happened, but I'm thrilled we are reunited!

My favorite so far is the hostess sets! They are awesome!!!

My favorite part of the catty isn't a particular thing, it's that SU! really did an awesome job making the coordination of things so very clear! I LOVE the Style Watch section at the beginning which shows the color scheme, stamp sets, alphas, and accessories for the three popular styles. I LOVE the pages with accessories visible at the bottom of the page.

Of course, if you don't care for the three spotlighted styles, or don't like sketched line/doodly things, you might be understandably disappointed. But isn't it cool that in 6 months, you've got another chance to find what you want?

I guess I'm in the minority ... I'm a little disappointed in the catalog. I'm not into the Moose You thing and many of the sets look repetitious to me ..
I do like the new in colors and I always need paper, so I'll find something to buy, I'm sure.
