My choice wasn't there. I'm still calling them USW but Very Vanilla. I dont' know why VV was easier to go to. I think it will always be USW though LOL!

while I much prefer US white/vanilla, because it makes it sound like special paper (which it IS!), I'll be going with Whisper White and Very Vanilla.
I still don't know why they bothered to change the name... confusing, if you ask me.

I like the new names too....it does make them sound like the very special paper that it is!
Very Vanilla is not any different that Pink Passion or Yoyo Yellow....
Just my opinion, of course!

I think I'll use white and very vanilla. I don't like "whisper," though. I think of vellum as more "whisper-y"!

It will either be "ultrasmooth" or just the white and vanilla for me. I actually shorten most of the color names. I just can't handle saying all of them at a workshop!

Change is so difficult. White and Vanilla works for me, but because we tend to use shortcuts here, I guess I have to start using WW and VV.

White & Vanilla. US is so hard to remember and it reminds me of glossy so I get them confused sometimes.

I like Whisper White. It sounds so....floaty. However, I'll probably just say White and Vanilla.

White and Valinna (how my kids say vanilla). My 5-year-old dd saw a tab I'd made awhile back for US White and wanted to know if it was American.

I don't do change well - I still say ...
Opal Fruits - even though they've been Starburst for years
Marathon - even though it's been a Snickers for years
our local shop Londis - even though it became One-Stop about 8 yrs ago
I could go on, but you probably don't know what I'm talking about because I'm foreign.
I have to say... and I WILL wash out my mouth with soap and water afterwards... that I find the constant alliteration in the SU catalogue a bit irritating. Some of the colours sound so forced - Mellow Moss, Garden Green and Summer Sun I can live with because they're logical ... but Yoyo Yellow? Only Orange? What does THAT mean? JMHO ;-)

I think I am in the minority here. I actually like saying "Whisper White" better than Ultrasmooth White. I tend to get my tongue tied every now and then, ESPECIALLY at workshops! So, the new names, to me, are a little more fun and definitely easier to say!
