Love to read, fish, ride my atv's, gardening, scrapbook when I can make myself do it! Love to surf Eb=y, enjoy anything sporty out in nature!!
I love to keep buying more and more stamps and papers!
Does shopping at Archivers count???? Anne
I started out with scrapbooking and that's still my other hobby. Now I do traditional, digital, and hybrid (a combo of the two). Because of my scrapbooking, I got into photography although my most favorite subject is my family Right now I am collecting lens and add-ons for it. I LOVE to read. That was my very first hobby, since I was in kindergarten. I love to cook and try out a new recipe. I'm more into gourmet cooking. I love antiquing and home decorating. My new hobby is felt stitching. I've only made four things. I love playing with new application. I'm glad it's something I get to do at work because if not, I'd go broke.
I think my user name says it all!
Quilts are long term projects, and I love them....but I get a quick artistic "fix" from stamping. Luckily, I have my own studio for my artistic messes--nobody has to see it. Good thing, because right now it looks like a fabric and rubber stamp bomb fell on it!!
I enjoy reading (mostly true crime and Kathy Reichs/Patricia Cornwell), shopping, cooking (love trying new recipes), and speading time with my DH and two furbabies.
My hubby and I are big fans of the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) and MMA (Mixed Martial Arts). Neither of us take part in the sport, but love watching the skills and technique of it. I am hoping to surprise my FH with a trip to Montreal to see UFC live if/when it is officially announced.
Besides Scrapbooking and card making...I love polymer clay. I found it on the Carol Duvall show one day, and now I have a stockpile of it! It is fun. Other than that...I just chase my boys around all day.
I like to read, play bridge, do math & word games, study medieval history, watch classic movies, play computer games, listen to music (classical and rhythm & blues). I also like to swim, snorkel, and water ski, although I am not near the ocean or a lake, so I don't get to do these often, and I would like to go hot-air ballooning again - what a feeling of freedom!
Besides Stamping, I love genealogy, crochet, volunteer work and teaching others how to do any of the above. I am also a football fan and a devoted Green Bay Packer backer (who is rather sad right now).
I'm not really too crafty other than card making. I can crochet but don't do much with it. I can sew but don't have a sewing machine. I do like to draw but I'm not good at it due to lack of practice. My main hobbies include card making, working with greyhounds and dogs in general, I play piano, saxophone and guitar. I love to bake and am actually pretty good with pastries. I'm dying to take a cake decorating class so I suppose that's craft. ;) I also waterski and am a HUGE Auburn fan so I know and follow football. I'm learning pro football cause it's so different.
My other hobbies are scrapbooking, sewing, cake decorating, smocking, cross stitching, cooking and reading. I also dabble in photography a little and enjoy using Photoshop to enhance my pictures.
I enjoy playing with beads and baubles. Noticed many mentioned calligraphy. Do you ever incorporated it on your cards? I've been thinking it is a perfect way to go. Unfortunately I am awful at it. If I saw it done, I might practice more.
I am always looking for a new hobby. I love to stamp, like to scrapbook (but ind it to be very time consuming), I am a Girl Scout Leader, I volunteer to fill in for the school nurse too. I also love to veg out with my poodle Teddy!

My other obsession is quilting, and I also love crosstitching. I'm trying my hand at knitting and I used to do a lot of crocheting. Now that I'm leaving my full-time job after 30 years and becoming a part-time grammy, hopefully I'll have more time for all of the above!

No. I quit calligraphy when I started scrapbooking. Calligraphy, well, good calligraphy, takes more practice than I could give it, and mine never got really good, either! It was fun, though, and my last project was a book of psalms for my mom (hard cover with stab hinged binding). It took three months and burned me out, I think. When my kids are grown, I'd like to take a refresher class and really work at it.
Well my other hobbies are swimming/water aerobics, I am in the pool about 10 hours a week both swimming laps and taking water classes, jewelry making, though that has taken the back seat over the past 6 months or so, and I LOVE shopping for bargains! I also make jam from my plum tree plums, is that a hobby? Great thread, we are all so creative!!!
Well, I'm a new stamper so that is occupying most of my time lately.
I am a graphics designer so that takes up a bit of my time, too.
I love to sew when I can...I make outfits for my Westie puppy. .
I have a Westie too!! One of my hobbies is playing and walking her - she's a sweetheart!
I also crochet, read, garden, work out, paint and scrapbook. And never have enough time LOL!
my first hobby is quilting. even opened up my own homebased business making t-shirt quilts. (The Quilting Jeannie is the name) Then I got into counted cross stitch. Now both of those are taking a back seat to stamping. I got into stamping about 4 years ago. I still make quilts for people all the time. which reminds me............i need to get crackin on one i have stuff for!!
WOW! We really are talented! I love my hobbies but now I am back to having to prioritize...my last semester of grad school started this week and I have 2 classes along with teaching full time. When I do have time I love to quilt, hook rugs, do punch needle, scrapbook, cross stitch, make prim dollies, and I love to read. I recently found a new-to-me author named James Rollins. He writes adventure/mystery books that take place all over the world. I need to remember to make time for me this semester!
Over the years, I have done just about everything except stained glass (or does Glass Art Paint count?) One of my favorites was ceramics, but I worked so fast that it was pretty expensive! - reminds me that I still have stuff to paint! I buy beads in the hope that I will eventually get organized and make jewelry. Right now my main hobby is figuring out which new tool, paper, stamp, etc. I can't live without and then buy it in the hopes that when my stamping area gets organized I will actually sit down and create! I used to sew all of my clothes, crochet, embroider, cross stitch, sew pillows and curtains/drapes - so many unfinished needle projects! Love to bake, but I end up eating it all so I try not to bake much. Do a lot of reading - just finished Pillars of the Earth and about to start World Without End.
I've basically pared down the craft supplies to papercrafts, jewelry and clay and I still can't get organized.
Fun to read what everyone else does. Thanks for starting this thread.
I love to think about this because I am passionate about soo many things..
Scrapbooking, Stamping, Floral Design, Photography, Walking, Swimming, just about anything outdoors and physical..
;)
Here goes: reading, gardening, cross stitch, sewing, soaps (yes I've been addicted for years), going to the theater ( have season tickets to 2 theaters!)....playing with my little nephew (who knew I'd like playing cars at my advanced age? OK I'm not that old..)
I stamp, scrap, sew and love to garden. I am planning my veggie garden for this spring. However, I have veggies growing all seasons. I start my own seeds and even save them for future planting. I also love to read, go for long bike rides. I quilt and cross stitch every now and then.

Glad you like it, Karen! I am thrilled that so many people responded. I enjoy reading their answers!

I collect vintage glass, art glass, collage wall art and shoes. ;) I have done cross stich in the past before instant gratification took hold and I do some beadwork. My current "hobby" is raising my 17 year old granddaughter, photography, and trying to keep my blog up. I share my hobbies with my Jack Russel Skooyah, two rather antique cats and my "angel" cat Sly- aka "Puff Daddy"..who I found nearly starved in my driveway.
As you might have guessed, scrapbooking and knitting. I also really enjoy hiking, but I couldn't figure out a cool way to incorporate that into my name!
I'm a quilter and I also love to cook, garden, read and collect americana! Oh yea, and I'm really getting into birds - attracting them to my back yard with food, water and shelter and then watching thier lifestyles! I'm thrilled that there are alot of bird stamps out there!!!
Great question! Fun to read other posts!
