I'm just curious to find out what stamp sets everyone will be ordering from the retired list. What are your "must-haves"? For me, right now, it's Wonderful Wings, Watercolor Garden II, Yukon...maybe Exotic Blooms...Ho Ho Holidays.
My must haves are: Christmas Foliage, Happy Fall Y'all, Season's Sketches, Autumn, Lace Snowflakes, Simply Spring, and of course, WGII. And then there is A Beautiful Season, Changing Season and Yukon but a friend has them so I'm not quite so desperate on those.
I'm not quite as ticked off at SU this year as I usually am but I JUST bought like 5 other sets that are retiring, grrr. I'm trying to build my "current" sets, which are not even a third of what I have retired. But my disappointment with SU doesn't last, I'll be just as happy as can be in a day or two, LOL.
I am going to be ordering a few from the list...luckily I only have 6 on the retiring list :o) I will DEFINITELY be buying "Classic Convertibles" (my hubby, dad, and brother are huge car buffs), "Beautiful Batik" (I have been putting off getting this set, but I want...no, I NEED it), "Wonderful Wings" (another set I have put off getting, but MUST have) and I'm going back and forth on "Road Trip" and "Steppin' Style". There are also several that I want from the Summer Mini, not to mention the new colors, needless to say this will be an expensive couple of months :o)

I think I will be ordering Kids at Play, Roughing It, Paisley Print (thanks to all you here at scs), Hand-stitched. Maybe Coast to Coast and Changing Seasons.
The sets I "need" for sure are Vertical Greetings, Kids at Play, and Seeds of Kindness. I am on the fence about Bitty Boos, Coast to Coast, Sparkle (that screams 50s kitchen countertop to me) and Paisley. I am also thinking about Kids Cards. I am not really fond of it - but am just afraid I will be pissed at myself if I don't own "all" the RMH stamp sets.
Ooo...I forgot about Beautiful Batik. That's another one to add to the list. I'm thinking about Take Me Out to the Ballgame, too. That seems like a good one for masculine cards. Maybe Simply Spring...I love that bird. This definitely could get expensive, especially when you add the retiring colors into the mix. It's fun, though! : )
well being a demo I am not buying anything, but did have off the retired list, A Beautiful Season, Alphabet Fun (upper, lower and numbers), Birthday Greetings (they better have new ones!) Little Trucks, Bug Builders, and I suppose since On the Farm is retiring my wheel will be too, so that is all I had thankfully!! So eventually will be trading them off so can buy new stuff. Don't know why they would retire all the Crayon fun things and just leave the Crayon Kids there... wonder if new ones coming out or what??
I'm going to restrain myself. I think I might just get the perfect paisley background. But, I really like A beautiful season and am hoping to buy it used from someone! I love the SU backgrounds and want to save my $$ for the new catalogue (when I'll become a demo, too!).

I will be getting paisley print and I am seriously considering the crayon alpha and numbers. (I have crayon kids and use it a TON) The only stamp set that I have from the list is WCGII, so I would be getting that one if I didn't already own it.
I will order Wonderful Wings, Ho Ho Holidays and maybe Simply Spring....I just bougt Just My Type....
I just became a demo and I'm still going to order some of the retiring sets to make my own Christmas cards and whatnot.
There are two sets that I must have: On the Farm and Have a Heart (I love that elephant) and there are three sets that I might get after I search the galleries for ideas: Spring Gifts, Bitty Boos, and On the Beach but I'm sure I will find more that I must have!!!!
I have Stipple Shells and love it, especially for scrapbooking. And that Fall Fun is a great one with TONS of good uses...and at that price, I'd say it's a must have.
On the Farm is a must-have for me (already own it) because we have a small farm. On the Beach is a nice set for cards and scrapbooking too. And who can't use Botanicals. Man there are SO many great ideas for that one, I'm very glad I have it because I use it all the time.
I agree that they better replace the Birthday Greetings...they didn't replace the Thank You set last year like I was hoping they would, so that might be a good one to snap up for now.
Friendships Journey - my girlfirend owns it and I "could" use hers.... but would like my own - my demo owns it - perhaps it will be in her "hostess Appreciation" box!!!.....but I know its FAV of hers - so it will probably be kept for personal use!
Wonderful Wings - I LOVE that set! Its been on my wish list for a while but the minis ahve been so AWESOME - I have ordered LITTLE out of the IBC this year!
My wheel will be Dragonfly - I have Bunch O Bugs and use it ALOT ! Lost-In -Texas's ingredients swap for this month got me back on a wheel kick!!!
Other than that probably Paisley but will ask hubby to buy that for Mom's day so I do not have to take funds for it our of MY budget!!!! TEEHEE!

I have 8 marked off as ones I think I have to have!!!
Beautiful Season
Simply spring
HB Frame
Flowers of the Month
Dance Sketches
Wonderful Wings
Ho-Ho-Holidays
Sparkle
Although when I look at all the sets retiring, I can't help but wonder what great things are coming in the new catty....maybe better than the ones we have to have????
But since I have signed on as demo, I am thinking I should invest in current sets since that is what I will be selling.

I only have four that are retiring and I'm thinking I am going to have to get Calming Garden. It keeps calling out to me, every time I see a card made with it. I still can not believe that Charming Children is staying!!
I think Filigree is the only one I must have! I already got Wonderful Wings (even though I thought it would be retiring) and Paisley (which I was NOT expecting to retire) quite recently.
But of course I'll be looking at the Gallery here for ideas from the other retiring sets to see if there's another one I "need'!
A Beautiful Season, On the Beach and Paisley Print were already on my "next order" list, so seeing they are retiring only confirms that I'll be ordering them next.
I'm on the fence for a lot of others, like some of the backgrounds, Autumn and Yukon. The Yukon set would be great combined with my Great Outdoors wheel and would give me options for masculine cards, so I'm definitely weighing on it.
I'm just happy with my wis list is not nearly as long as last year's. It will save me from going through all that agony when making my final selection.
