I went to a papercrafts fair last weekend, not a lot of exhibitors but enough to do a bit of damage to the budget. I now have:
Tattered Angels sea life stamps and Tattered Traveller (I think) stencils. I was absolutely delighted when I found that the clock face from 'A Sense of Time' just fits neatly into the pocket watch stencil. How's that for cross-brand synergy?
2 sets of Nellie Snellen nesting dies and a different Dutch brand snowflake die.
Some peel craft stickers for Christmas cards
Inkjet-compatible shrink plastic
- and I'm due to place an SU order this weekend so will be getting new colour reinkers and making my own Spots since SU isn't offering an upgrade pack!
I was so bad....that hubby wagged his finger at me. LOL We were on vacation and so I was able to shop a few stores that were new to me. Hmmm, a set of Spellbinders fancy tags and a set of oval labels, two stamp sets, seven individual stamps, 4 precut card packs that were on sale, Perfect Pearls, two Tim Holtz ink pads, T.H. mat, and water misters. Placed an SU order before I left that came by mail today. (two stamps sets and an embossing folder) Now I need time to play!
The Angel Company just releasd their Fall Supplement, and there are some darling animal stamps, that I have ordered, and some Christmas stamps.
Karen S
Some of the new Making Memories Christmas papers and goodies, Maya Road chipboard album and Tim holtz Rosette die.... had to get my free bag from Archivers on Saturday
Let us know how you like that Tim Holtz rosette die! That looks fabulous and fun to try!
I recently bought beautiful flowers, brads and paper at Michaels for Halloween. Last night I got grunge paper and Martha Stewart Halloween paper at Meijer! Now the crazy part is I usually don't even like Halloween! Hoarder!
I just placed my very first UNITY order..got a few stamp sets when they offered the 30% off and free stuff. My best deal ever was on QVC when they had the clearance off on Tim Holtz distress inks...I got 6 stamp pad for under $11 so I ordered them all! that was my best deal ever!!
So...we are finally getting a joint checking account on Saturday. I'm sort of happy but sort of sad, I'll probably have to cut back on my stamp spending now:-/ It's the FIRST time since the end of June when we got married that we've both been off work at the same time when the bank is open to do it!!!! Crazy huh? I'm still going to keep my account for my SU "business" but now it'll have a lot less cash in it. On the other hand the other account will have a lot more:-)
I just read a book where the main character came up with "secret shopping" where the store delivered clothes in copy paper and office supply boxes....SU should do that and list it on your bank register secretly, lol!!!!!! Just kidding...sort of, haha.
So back to the orig idea of the thread, I ordered a bunch of SU stuff on Oct 1! Finally getting that tasteful trim die, can't wait for that one!
Oh My Gosh! I have been on a spending spree or something lately...I gotta stop!
I bought 2 Unity stamp sets the other day with their 30% off sale. The Melody Ross scrapbooking ones...Brave Girl and the other one....I have been wanting forevah!
Then while I was at Walmart looking for magnets, they had a bunch of craft stuff on sale and I found 3 Martha Stewart clear stamp sets for $2.50 each! One was birds, one was a camilla flower and one was leaves.
THEN....SU has tons of cardstock and DSP and stuff on their Clearance Rack so I have placed 3 orders for that over the last 2 days....yikes! to save yourself from ordering multiple times....please note that there are more than 10 pages to scrool thru...the number stops at 10 but just keep using the arrow button to keep going!

I've SO been trying to be good. I broke down last night and bought Tim Holtz Alterations Collection - Texture Fades Embossing Folders - Set of 4 for $12.99.
*sigh*
I need more embossing folders like I need another hole in my head ....
Hmmm. let's see. I just ordered a WHOLE BUNCH of new Technique Tuesday stamps that I can't wait to get my hands on.. I have been stocking up on Tattered Angels Glimmer mists and Glazes, and ACTUALLY USING THEM!! *gasp* And... that's about it! My budget is not so big right now, so I've been using what I got and buying a few goodies here and there..

This week...let me see...a couple new paper stacks from My Minds Eye...A very large order from the SU clearance rack...a few new punches.....I am sure I will think of more...
blessings.
I just bought one of those magnetic cutting mats (the one by Basic Grey). Holy schmoly! Where has it been all my life?!?

I bought a PILE Of stuff from the SU clearance rack.
I must stop now. I also recently discovered Lego, you know the kid's toy. I never had any as a kid and we got my sons some about a week ago. I'm obsessed! I could spend all my stamping money on lego! It's too much fun. We have not had the TV on in the afternoon all week because we just build stuff all the time! But lego is expensive, so I have to rework my "fun money budget" to include some! haha.

Just got in my order from Tape Depot, nothing exciting but it is needed.
And in a day or two I should get my PTI order in. A large-ish order with about 5 stamp sets(two are only $5 sets) another color to add to my collections, several more button colors, along with several ribbon colors. Should have fun playing this weekend!
Paper, ribbon and a die from the SU clearance section the other day. Just got in the mail the Santa's workship Quickutz set, 3 new Quickutz 4x8 alphabet dies and the Quickutz bowl/spoon die. Sales just suck me right in.
Somebody was selling zillions of verve stamps on Ebay and I won the auction. I paid about 50 dollars for multiples sets. I think, the regular price is something close to $200. I also got the new collections from Cosmo Criket. More Spellbinders, this time I bought them on Etsy. Pretty good deal, and free shipping.
haha where do I begin...BG Jovial stuff, Hero Arts Tree stamp, Christmas paper and embellisments from Making Memories, Little Yellow Bicycle, Kaiser....the list goes on!! Just need to make stuff now!
I just bought three Cricut cartridges: Hello Kitty Font, Cindy Loo & Lyrical Letters.
UK's Cardmaking & Papercraft magazine with a beautiful Christmas fairy set included.
I bought a bunch of small items today that were all under a $1. I got beads, acrylic paint, ribbons, alphabet stickers, button, balsa wood, plastic canvas, $1 Acrylic stamp set, & plastic canvas yarn.
Weirdest purchase was pastel blue duct tape and carpet tape. I am making a lot of embellishments and doing altering with all my cheap and tape stuff.
Just ordered a wallet sized copic market swatch book from oozak, and just received some thick mulberry paper from The Beary Scrap for making cute tear bears. Yesterday I bought some copics, 7 gypsies collage frame, dsp, embellies and a couple Hero Arts stamps from Archiver's. I have a couple of 50% off coupons to use at Michael's and one for JoAnn's, but am trying to tell myself I bought enough already.
I feel really guilty. After getting the Sizzix Architectual Accents dies, Gina K Organize It stamp set and the lacy circles nesties last week, today, I went on Overstock and got the Ribbon Tag Trio Shapeabilities. Got free shipping and 10% off with a coupon sent by them. THEN, I added a few things I needed to a club order that I finalized today. Oh, and forgot to mention that I got an MS score board for my cousin for her birthday at the end of this month. It came on Sat, got free shipping on it from Overstock. Would have gone to Michael's but the nearest one is 45 min away. I keep telling myself I don't need the score board as I have a scorpal. The dh is going to be near a Michael's next week and I have a 50% off coupon so I might cave in. Yikes!!!
Went to Mike's today to buy the Martha score board with the Oprah 50% coupon all out!!! Got to wait. But Mike's was real nice about being out. She wrote her name on the coupon and stated coupon was good for item when it comes back in stock-Even if the coupon expired-Mike's will honor the Oprah coupon for the item I want!!!
