Wenchie,
You don't have any sets???? Oh, my word! Of course, if anyone could get by without SU sets, it would be you. I am amazed at your cards. I think you could make a stunning card out of nail heads and dental floss! I, on the other hand, have to have all the latest bling, paper, tools, etc. and still can't come up with anything that will touch your creations!

My first set was Heartfelt Thanks. I got it because it was in a "kit". I don't remember what else was in the kit, but I just didn't know where to start, so it was nice to have it all in a pkg. I still just love that set. I got lucky, 'cause I sure didn't know what I was doing!

My first set was bought at least 7 years ago, and I don't remember if I bought a discontinued thing from a demo or what, cuz it has purple rubber - was never a hostess and don't recall the circumstances. It is called Country Greetings and has a frame, cat, behive, butterfly, and basket of apples, thank you, happy birthday, and hello - it wasn't even mentioned in the gallery the last time I looked. Anyone else have this one?
Mine was a SAB set. It was Paint Prints. I ended up buying enough supplies to get it. My next order costed me over $400.00! It was tax return time and I needed stamps!
What a fun thread......my first set was Snowglobe. It is stained and sooooo very loved!!! I don't think I'll *EVER* part with it.......I have a thing for snowglobes.......and that was close to 175 sets later....that's what I have now....I have sold/traded a few away....LOL!!!
My first set was Charming Children...I swear they used pictures of my girls to create this stamp set! I used these on my Christmas cards that year and my family thought I had the stamps custom made.
My first set was Nice and Easy notes. I think I bought it the first year (or second) that is was in the catty. I know it was many, many moons ago! Or should a say many, many sets ago! I finally got sick of that set a few years ago and sold it. I think I bought it because I could color it in with the pencils. Didn't take much thought or money. Now...I am completely addicted with two stamp rooms, hundreds of sets, and just about every accessory and embellishment known to man, both SU! and other companies as well. Okay...I have issues!!!
I can't think of the name right now, but my first set was the little babies doing different things - like sleeping, taking a bath, crying, etc. It has a wheel to go with it. I'm such a sucker for the coordinated stuff!

I Store More Stamps - do you?
I had went to a workshop way back in I think '95 around X-mas and bought Happy Holidays for my cards that year. I also bought Celestial Skies. I moved shortly after and some things got misplaced, then I kinda forgot about them until I moved again and they showed up!!!! Shortly ther after my sister started stampin aand I went to another workshop and bought Fanciful Flowers and Bold & Basic Greetings. Now I can't stop and just signed to be a Demo!!!!!
Vintage Postcard. The funny thing about it, I just used it this year and bought it 6 years ago...

Mine was the demo kit!!! LOL! So, technically I guess a bunch are my "firsts". But what made me fall in love was looking at the catalog BEFORE the actual party. By the time the party date arrived, I was hooked and I had yet to actually stamp or make a card!!!

My first sets, of which there were 7, I happened upon them at my Goodwill. I had never heard of Stampin Up...there is a picture of my very first one in my gallery. I purchased the background and got home and looked on the computer, ebay was the only place I knew to check it out and there's my story! I will say I went back to the Goodwill the next day and bought six more sets, two of which were the all year cheer series. I have been fortunate to find many this way. I love the stipple plaid.
Lace snowflakes i think? ( its four snowflakes that look like they are crochet doily type images)
not sure how old they are? at the same party i also ordered some kind of a floral set, keep thinking the name was something like rose vine wreath? ( had a heart shaped grapevine image with some other rose clusters and maybe the ever popular thank you sentiment )
