I love the "antique cracking" background stamp. To me there has not been an equivilent released by stampin up or any other manufacturer for that matter--so I cant part with it. I wish they could re-release it! It's so great for country and shabby styled cards!

I miss all the kids stamps....rainy days--fall for all---and beach babies. I also miss Fishin'--
I don't get rid of any of my retired ones...who ever said they don't keep them more than a year after retirement...you have got lots of will power. I just can't do it. Even though I'm a demo (5 years!!) I just love my 300 sets even if I can't use the retired ones at parties!
No one has mentioned my favorite retired set yet. I think the first set I fell absolutely in love with from the very beginning, was Sun, Moon and Stars. When I saw the sun that they replaced it with in Stardust, I just felt like OMG how could they lol. I guess I just thought they could never replace the Sun, Moon and Stars in my mind. We are all so different, in what we like. Just can't wait for the new stamps to come out.

Celtic Knots - definately! It was the first stamp set I ever bought and I love being able to put my Irish heritage into my art. They don't have any Celtic - type stamps so I have to get them from other companies and I'm just not as satisfied with them.
I've only kept four retired stamp sets: Snow Globe, Peace on Earth, Castles and Dragons (this was the very first set I ever bought!), and Halloween Hedgehogs.
My favorite retired set is Posys and Bees. I think thats the name. I'm at work (lunch break) and can't go and check. I adore the Mary Englebrect style of that set.
I don't have Leafy Glade or Harlequin but would give my eye teeth to add those two to my collection. Please email me if you are willing to sell either of these stamps.....

My all time FAVORITE is Petal Prints. I'm a demo and wish it could come back I still use it all the time for cards to give to teachers, family and friends.
My favorite retired set is Cuddles and Tickles. It was the first SU stamp set that I ordered, so I will never part with it (plus I use it a lot). I also won't part with Retro Alphabet. I was so disappointed when SU could no longer sell that set. :(
DD Sunflower hands down. I love sunflowers and they are a cheery flower for all occasions. I am so disappointed that there has been nothing even close to replace it. I'm hoping my daily emails to SU this past year have helped!

I'm a scout leader and I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT Girls at Play.
I had someone offer me $50 for it the other day. Couldn't part with it.
WHAT was SU thinking when they retired the scout sets????? If only I had known how popular they are, I'd have bought 20 of them and have a nice stamp slush fund right now!!
I know lots and lots of people that are hoping they bring back some scout sets.
And I love the little hedgies also. Hedgehog Happiness was my 2nd set to get (after mini mates) and I have the Halloween and Christmas ones also. Hated to see them go.

For me it is Party Animals....they are just too cute and I use this set often. You can do so much with it. Love, Love, Love it!!!
Another vote for Party Animals!!
Also, I really liked Wild Things and the one that they gave out at regionals a couple of years ago - it was the flower pot with the tulip and the bird and the bee. Looked kind of country in the catalog, which I didn't care for too much, but when you used bright colors it had a funky, tropical feel.
I would have to say BOW WOW too. As you can tell I have 2 dogs and refuse to buy the current dog stamp set (it is sooo ugly :!: ). This is a problem for me because I still have my 6x6 SU album I got with with my kit sitting on a shelf begging for me to use it. I want to use it for my two "boys" but not with the current dog set.
I would have to say that my favorite set is bold bithday. It was the very first set I bought from SU some seven years ago. My biggest regret is that I sold it and bold invitation when they retired. I miss this set every time I have to make a birthday card.
Oriental Gardens, Stipple Hydrangea, Make a Wish, Architecural Elements, plus Harlequin, Stripes and Leafy Glade backgrounds. I bought Tropical Blossoms when it went on the retirement list last year, and I love it, but I actually haven't had a chance to use it much yet. I'm sure once I do, I'll add it to this list. Oh, and Beautiful Ballerinas -- I use it to make birthday cards for my daughters to give. [/b]

Hi!
I've been with SU for 10 years now so there are a lot I won't part with, I do keep all sets, retired and current.
Egyptian
Architectural Elements
Bold Birthday
Bow Wow
Meow, Meow
Frannie Farm, Betsy the Bee Keeper, Winter Wilma and Stella Stamper
Working Women and For Women Only
DD Noah
DD Sunflower and DD Hydrangea
Posy and Bee
Funky Favorites
Sweet Herbs
Wolves
Frost a Cookie
Holiday Hannah,
picking only one! I have too many retired sets to list here, so I won't even try...But if I had to say which set I can see myself keeping forever and ever and using a million times, it would be (Brenda can guess this!): Fantastic Foliage! Or maybe Lovely as A Tree. Or maybe....
When I'm not near the stamp I love, I love the stamp I'm near!

I agree. I don't have Girl Power, but I sure wish I did!!! It was perfect.
I also miss Stipple Butterfly.
