Check out cards made by Krabearkub here on SCS...I don't know how to link to his gallery, or I would do so! He has some fabulous men cards - I remember a wonderful one with a cowboy and barbed wire and some great tractor cards. Can someone provide a link, by chance?

Here is one of my favorite combo's that I have done recently. I love river rock and black for men...it's MantAstic! I actually have a few masculine cards, because I need to send out at least 5 a month for various things, but mostly thanks/gratitude and happy bday!

Gratitude

I have never heard of this other person you are looking for, but I have gotten some ideas from this guy..he has some great tutorials www.stampinkub.com

Here's a masculine card I made a while back. I think the colors, plaid paper, and layout make for a real "manly" look!

Just did this one with the Wanted set.

This was done with Sporting Goods, which is retired, but they did come out with a new football set. I really liked how the lacing on the side turned out.

Hehehe - this stampinkub link is Krabearkub the guy that was mentioned in the link before yours - your link is his blog. He is a young guy who loves to stamp and he's good!! He is so kind as well, sent my young son a card and some goodies when he heard that he likes to make cards to.

Your football helmet card is fabulous - the stitching is so clever and eye-appealing. (Now I want a football stamp so I can try this myself! )

Carol, I thought I was the only one incapable of uploading!!!! You've made my day a little brighter knowing that someone else on SCS is "upload free", even though it is caused by ineptitude rather than by choice. ;)

Great card and you are "right on!" as we used to say in the old days! ;) I also saw your card using the same set and the word window punch as the bar at the top of the ribbon - very cool effect! You should link to that card, too, cause it's worth sharing.

Thanks for the links, Kurtis! I had forgotten how impressed I was by the fine details you added to the cowboy card - the curled corners on the cowboy image revealing the canvas bg underneath is just one of the things that makes this card one of my all time favorites.

I make quite a few masculine cards since I have 3 brothers. Here are a few of my favs that I've made.

Boxers (underwear) Card
Boxers Card by troopersma at Splitcoaststampers

I Owe U My Thanks
Dallas' Thank You Card by troopersma at Splitcoaststampers

Hiking/Destination Card
Roughing It SC60 by troopersma at Splitcoaststampers

Golfing (Back Nine)
Troopersma Back Nine Card by troopersma at Splitcoaststampers

Fishing Themed
VLVS and Alcohol Inks by troopersma at Splitcoaststampers

Military Basic Training Graduation

Sometimes You're The Dog...
Sometimes.... by troopersma at Splitcoaststampers

Michael's $1 Golf

Hopefully some of those spark your interest. In general...darker colors, less embellishments seems to be the key.

Enjoy
