I use my printer to add my verse to the inside of my cards. However my old printer (HP) is slowly causing me problems. I also have a Lexmark, but I was never able to print my card through. I make 1/2 sheet (8.5 x 11) cards, and it just never worked on that printer. Anyway, I was just wondering if any of you also use the printer for this, if so, what kind of a printer do you have??
I have both a Lexmark laser printer and a dell color photo printer and both work fine for me. For the Lexmark, I open the front panel so the paper feeds out that way and doesn't have to bend all the way around to come out the top.
I have an hp 6980 and it is great for printing, except for cardstock. I have to figure that out, lightweight paper is ok, but I don't print off digital photos,
wouldn't that use a lot of ink, I prefer to have my pictures done at a photo shop, you don't need as expensive of a printer just for printing verses and digital scrapbook printing. Carolyn
I have a Lexmark 3 in 1 and just love it. it prints on SU cardstock, acetate, glossy - you name it it does it!! It also prints pretty close to the SU colors when I put in the SU color codes.
I have an Epson CX7800, and to be honest, I prefered my CX5600 for the cardstock. The 7800 prints on the cardstock beautifully, but only once I can get it fed through. The 5600 had no problems at all catching the cardstock to feed it through, but with the 7800 I have to very gently press the cardstock into the feeding mechanism as the printer is trying to pull it in. This is only with the colored carstock, the whisper white and very vanilla have no such problems.
