You really might want to wait a day if you are trying to download the catalog. There was a lot of frustration last year on the first day with the slow download time. ANd the next day everything was back to normal!

If your demo has an official SU! website, you'll have a much easier (read: faster) time downloading the PDF from there. It's a large file so it'll be slower no matter what, but through the individual demo sites there's less traffic so the files transfer more quickly. I went through my own website last year during all the difficulty, and had no trouble at all!

Noon SU! (mountain) time -- takes a little bit for the switchover to be made from the old one!

Yeah, we won't see anything till around 2 pm! Oh, well.

If it helps at all, this is normal for the first day of a brand-new catalog. Transitioning to a new catalog is much more involved than just unveiling a new mini, so they can't just flip the switch at midnight like they did back in April! :(

i think SU! should change their time to MIDNIGHT... they HAVE to know we're all *impatiently* waiting for a peek at the new stuff. wouldn't an 'after hours' switch be easier on their systems? then we'd wake up to see the new catalog regardless of what coast we're on... hmmm... i must still be dreaming!

I remember how frustrating it was trying to download before I was a demo. It used to drive me nuts! They do say that if you use a demo's site its easier, but I never tried it. I hope you all get to it.

It is really cute, lots of great ideas this time. I have lots of layouts that I can't wait to try! I think the Halloween section is a lot of fun. The little boy stamps are adorable. Some great new background stamps. Great rich colors. I also love that the In Colors are finally available in the markers. Great new rub ons and some fun ribbon. I wish it were 2 hours later so I could blab!

Don't forget to check the dormant list too, its long this time around. The scallop edge punch is on sale! Every week they are offering one item at discounted price. Fun!

Good luck everyone...can't wait to hear what you all think!

The SU! servers have been crashed even "after hours" ;) Lol, I don't think it matters the time, some people (Pick ME) are a little SU! crazy and will stay up until things go live, refreshing like a mad person.

All you have to do is find a Demo website under locate a Demonstrator...and you can download the catty right off their website. I can't give you a link as my Demo is Canadian and trust me, your prices are way better! ;)

Good luck!

Did you try on a demo's website or the main site? I know there are lots of people downloading it so there will be a little delay.. I think it works best from a demo's site.. Someone also said that it worked better for them in IE rather than Firefox, but I used firefox and it worked for me.
