Default What is this technique called??

I know we have a tutorial for this , but I don't know what it is called so I can't find it.

You stamp an image , put a Nestie ( such as a Label) over it and leave some of the image outside the die . Cut the nestie shape and then you "hand cut out" the part you did not cut with the Nestie . When finished some of the image is outside the cut label shape

What is this technique called??

I hope my explanation make sense
Thanks
Barbara

I think it is called 'out of the box'. At least that's what I call it! :-)

Lydia Thanks to you also !! It has been years since I used this technique, but I have an image that will not fit in the shape I want to use so I need to leave a section of the image uncut with the die shape
Thanks again
You saved my hair LOL
