I'm going to my first crop tomorrow. Gathering up the stuff, I thought I'd ask: What is the most important article(s) that I'm likely to forget to take with me?
scissors, cutters, dp, cs, PHOTOS, journaling pens, corner rounder and other punches or tools and blades for tools, stickers, embellishments, ribbon. Just remember your photos and papers - you can always borrow tools or scissors!! Have fun.
I'm going to my first one tomorrow too! I think I'm going to need to bring my entire stamp and ink collection!! I'm trying to decide right now EXACTLY what I'm going to work on and what I'll need. I'm all over the place--can't decide and still want to bring everything. Have fun!

think of what you really need to work on or what you really think you want to get done then you can figure out what you really must have . Then sit back take a deep breathe and let out a big sigh and pull out your tool box on wheels and an over the shoulder bag and fill it with all the stuff you think you might need. But be sure you dont forget your pictures and papar last time i got woth my girls I ended up making cards and what nots that I had not planned for because i forgot my pics and paper so I had to borrow from my friend some paper to make just a few cards. we live out in the woods so it would have taken up way too much time to go home get it then drive back out . any how have fun enjoy your time with friends away from your normal every day stuff if only for the day be a kid all over again ~~bluegirl~~
See? I would have been really ticked off without my adhesive and begging to buy or steal yours!!! I have heard of a couple people going off to crops with suitcases full of equipment and forgetting their photos - boy that would make me MADDDD. Have a great time.
I went! Had a WONDERFUL time! Lovely ladies! Great stamping area! Fabulous pot luck food! I will definitely go again.
I did not see the post about the water till today, and I did need to take water! Will remember that next time.
I had a great time too at my crop Leslie! Ours was in a hotel because the organizer's husband is the manager there so we had water and dinner at the restaurant included in the price. It was awesome!
The ladies were so nice and the time just flew by!
I brought lots of cards to do and notebooks to cover with decorative paper. I did only one scrapbook page which was okay with me. I definitely think the key is to know what projects you are going to work on. I wish I had brought more colors of cardstock so that I could play some more and not be limited to the colors I did bring, but I really have no regrets.
Thank you all so much for your suggestions.
Laurie, if you want to put a list together you can just do it in Word or as a pdf file and link it to your message as an attachment.

I would love for someone to make up a list! I am always within 10 minutes driving distance here, but each crop I forget something crucial...tape runner, 12 inch cutter or my dang pictures! You would think I would learn...but I don't!!
Ok I will give it a try - I will do word as I have no clue how to do a pdf file - an pdf locks up my computer when I try to download it sometimes (even with newest adobe, and it usually only happens in the SU site...) Thanks.

It is always worht it to just get together with others that enjoy your bad habits =) lol well any how just remember nothing is ever wrong and you over come and adapt just have a good time and plan on what you are going to do but dont get upset if your plan doesnt work . It always looks like I am moving into the store to live there but I like having a lot of stuff to work with and I can't count on the store's stuff being available or in great condition. Plus I spend way less money on stuff that night. I also make a little list for that particular crop with a few new ideas or techniques or certain items I want to use.
Ok I made the list but don't know how to link it to my siggy ... anyone awake who can help me do that?
I don't know how to link it in the siggy. Would you like to just attach it to the reply instead? I *think* you can only add something to your siggy if you have a hyperlink to a webpage...but I could totally be wrong!
