For me floral stamps, and tress -- with trees I find them to be especially versatile. Also my heart gravitates toward bicycles and there are so many cute bike stamps! My DH will respond with all stamps at large I'm sure!

What a fun topic For me it's snowmen and snowflakes (and that includes snowflake dies) and Christmas in general. Plus I have alot of sentiments - and it still frustrates me how I will need a particular size sentiment but I often STILL can't find one that is exactly what I want: the font doesn't look right with my image or the sentiment is too big or too small......which means I need more LOL

Flowers by far! Then "kid" images, trees & leaves, butterflies and sentiments. I have a ton of stamps, so this is a hard question, but hope I got the top areas.

Anything TEA. teapots, teacups, and all that goes with. And ballet shoes/ballerinas, as my daughter danced and I always made gifts for her teachers.

It's got to be a tie between florals and Christmas.

My boxes of "too much" can be organized by year: late 90's butterflies and bugs; early 2000's celestial, coffee; then bold solid images (florals and sea stuff), then vintage and collage. Isn't it amazing how quickly we can get over stuff but when it's hot we can't get enough?

Top category would be images of girls followed with a close second of sentiments and then floral. Oh and definitely Christmas is up there.

Oh my, such decisions. I love them all but lighthouses are a non-holiday favorite. They work so well for men. I ditto the giraffes, cats and florals.

Horses and western...but the horses have to not be ugly. I wish stamp manufacturers would ask ME before they make ugly ones.
Then it would be leaves and trees....and moose. I don't mean to collect flowers but have a good stash of them too. Oh well, nothing like virgin rubber to keep you happy.

YES! I love Tigers but so many of the stamps are "off" that I don't buy them. I would have a collection of Tigers to rival my Christmas stamps it they were "not ugly".

I have so many flower stamps that haven't been used! They are on the "don't buy any more!" list now. They always look so pretty and fun to stamp or color.

You can never have too many heart stamps, CraftyMel. Out of a few thousands stamps I've collected for nearly 20 years, my heart stamps are my clear favorites. I make and send more than 60 Valentines to my friends each year, most stamped inside with a message about friendship. All of my heart stamps are fancy, frilly or with hipster themes. They go well with the bits of lace trims I put on most of the cards. Each year, I start to get into the mood about in November when I start searching the Web for new (or retired) heart stamps.

Urm all categories are too plentiful in my craft room...but I would say Floral, animals, Christmas, Halloween (and since I have never made a Halloween card it is quite ironic lol)...

words/sentiments, cats (2 drawers full), Christmas (snowmen lead the pack), Halloween, then everything else comes in kind of equal. Love them all.

By far the largest small collection in my vast collection of stamps are my House Mouse stamps, I have several hundred. After that I seem to have quite a few Fairies. I also cannot resist anything with a pansy or tea themed.

I have far more sentiment stamps than anything else! A second would be floral. I want more variety but I keep picking great sentiments, even when I fully intended to buy image sets!!

Rubber and clear. *sigh*

Yes - I'm a stamp collector. Want a treat? Check out Kitchen Sink Stamps. They're clear, multi-step and the suggested stamp cleaner is vodka. I'm not kidding. Might not be on the site like that but it is! Just ask Maria

Absolutely has to be Christmas. I used to have ALL kinds of stamps (floral, nature, kid, different holidays, shapes, sentiments, etc) but then I sold EVERYTHING!!!! Yep, everything. Then after a few years, I realized that I missed making Christmas cards. So I started buying again and just concentrated on getting Christmas ones. Actually, when I say "Christmas" stamps I also mean the snowflake/snowman ones, any other winter type stamps. Anything that would make a good Christmas card.

Flowers--I have two sons, so I get my girly fix by getting lots and lots of floral stamps. Not so handy when I need birthday cards for their buddies, but good for most everything else! Things with wings--birds, butterflies, dragonflies.

If I like the new SU! Blendabilities markers as much as I think I will, my new favorite may be stamps that lend themselves well to coloring!

I completely agree with what others have said about animal stamps having to be just right. I love cat stamps, but I don't have many because the style of many of them doesn't appeal to me.

Such a fun thread!

I know this is an old thread, but I just wanted to add my 2 cents worth...My passion is cat stamps. I purchased a lot and a lot were given to me. No, I haven't used all of them. I think maybe I like to just look at them. LOL! I also have an incredible amount of Christmas stamps and you guessed it........a lot of them are kitties!
