Default What shade Distress Ink?

I am wanting to purchase distress ink at Hobby Lobby tomorrow(it's 1/2 off) and try out the "cracked glass" technique. What color/shade would anyone recommend? Linda

I like vintage photo, walnut, old paper, and there is a linen one. The tea dye is reddish and on certain items, it looks orange. I don't like that one. They also have six or so new colors. The denim and mahogany are my favorite.

Vintage photo is my favorite, but I love all the brownish colors.

I used vanilla paper once and when I heated the EP on it, it got much more vintagy yellow...no added ink needed.

The one I use the most is "antique linen"...it's the lightest of the brown family. I'm not a super-heavy-distresser-type stamper so I suppose that's why I reach for it most often. I also love "peeled paint" (green) and "fired brick" (a beautiful deep red.) I can't wait to get my hands on the new colors...gonna have to make a Hobby Lobby run to see if they have them in yet!

I have Linen and it is a little too yellow for my taste. HTH in your decision!
