No I never got Toile either nor did I get the Cowboy kid..had not started with SU yet and the min I never recieved and wouldn't you know I have a 6 year old cowboy on a farm with four horses...would love to see that OR anything comparable would be nice too.
I would also love Terrific Tulips...never got
Backyard BBQ
AND Buggies and Booties...just not any really beautiful baby stamps like that one in particular (in my eyes anyways)
well that's just dumb. cause there are no girl scout rubber stamps. -sigh-
really, i'm writing to the girl scouts. cause i think that's absurd. i mean, why? it's not like nobody knows the girl scouts.
and hershey had an issue with the kisses? what about those counterfiet chocolate kisses that get sold? go after the candy makers, not us. [/end rant]
Boy Scouts do not have any rubber stamps either (but they do have some wonderful pages and stickers!!!)... My guess is that they wanted SU to hand over a big portion of their profits, and SU said "no!" Like I said - doesn't matter that they had free advertising. Oh - and I did see scouts at play on the bay earlier today, and it was alread up to $44. Makes me really mad that I sold mine for $12. I really wish that I still had it, but I'm not willing to pay an arm and a leg:(
On that note, I'd love to see some real-life boy stamps with boys fishing, hiking, around a campfire, etc... Something in the Style of Coast to Coast, Changing Seasons, or Take Me Out to the Ballgame. My boys are scouts, and those stamps would fit my style better then the cutsie boys from Scouts at play.
Afraid we will not see anything quite like Love of Chocolate again. Hershey had issues with the little kisses. Seems kind-of dumb to me. I would think that they would sell MORE kisses since all the stampers would be making fun treat containers! And it was free advertising. Oh well!
And with Hershey getting a lot of bad publicity for moving a lot of the manufacturing to mexico and laying off people in the US, they could really use some good publicity.
- Wild Wild West
- Coast to Coast
- Botanicals (I bought this one from someone on SCS, but would still love to see it back in the catalog.)
- Petal Prints (already own it, but it is such a versatile and timeless set)
- Filigree background set
Is that really true about the scout sets? A Muse came out with stamps of scouts, a boy and a girl. I have them both. I like them both too, but I would LOVE to have the girl scout set from SU again. I have scouts at play and I would never give that one up.

I want a whole bunch of sets back that were in the 1997-98 catalog that I wanted back then but couldn't afford. (not that I could afford all of them now)
Times and Seasons (is that it?)
Balmy Breezes (I know it's not that old - I just like it and am ISO it now ;) )
Buggies and Booties
Does anyone think SU has been listening and we are going to get realistic/vintage/scenery types of stamps this time around? I'm debating whether to search for some of the oldies or hold out for the new catalog and hope for the best.
I loved the stained glass images from about 1999 or so - they were so pretty - I saw them then and couldn't afford them but have never forgotten them...
I think with all the sets that have been suggested SU could make a 20 year celebration catty all on its own using nothing but retired sets and still have a current one. Just an idea.
I know, I just picked up Classic Convertibles for $4 at a garage sale. I was so happy to have it because it's just so cool AND I had traded my own set away! :(
These are the stamps that I wish SU would bring back, or make something similar. I recently got:
On the Nile
Fairies
Fairyland
Oriental Paintings
Gifts from the Orient
Kimono
DD Southwest
Southwest Mini
South of the Border
I was able to acquire these either from e-bay or from wonderful SCS ladies for quite reasonable prices. Don't know if anyone else is looking for these sets (well, I know that Schooner and Ships Ahoy are popular) but they are the ones I want/ed.
