There are several sets that I am wishing I could still get. What sets
do wish were still available?
Here's my short list:
All Aboard
Oriental Gradens
Stardust
Tickled Pink
Toucan of my love.
I'm sure there are more, but that's all i can come up with right now.
These retired before I knew about SU...
There is not enought room to post them all!!!! lol
For the love of chocolate
Booglie Eyes
Bats about you
Haunted House
Autumn Harvest
Jack-o-lantern
Trees Three
Glam Girl
Halloween Hedgehogs - I sold it and now I wish I hadn't :(
Cool Cat
These are just a few...............I need to think of the rest
I wonder if they might do this. When they had their 15th anniversary, they brought back select retired sets for a month at a time. I got a few of my favorites when they did that.
For the Love of Chocolate
The 'Scouts' stamps---I can't remember their names---'Girl Power'?
Wild Wild West
Please, please, please!!!
Nancy
i second the mention of the two scouts sets. i'd love to have those. i was a girl scout for 12 years. and have lots of GS pictures to scrap.
but there's no way i'm paying $75 on ebay for one set.
oh, and the whole 'wild wild west' thing is a little crazy. it's up to $199.99 Buy It Now. honestly, is it truly worth that much? it's wood and rubber. that's just my opinion.

I was just talking with someone who knows a lot about SU, and she mentioned that these sets were discontinued because Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts both had issues with the sets. Sad to say, we'll never get anything in a new catalog that replaces them:( I believe both organizations have scrapbooking supplies specific to their program, so they were not about to let SU steal some of their business.
Afraid we will not see anything quite like Love of Chocolate again. Hershey had issues with the little kisses. Seems kind-of dumb to me. I would think that they would sell MORE kisses since all the stampers would be making fun treat containers! And it was free advertising. Oh well!

well that's just dumb. cause there are no girl scout rubber stamps. -sigh-
really, i'm writing to the girl scouts. cause i think that's absurd. i mean, why? it's not like nobody knows the girl scouts.
and hershey had an issue with the kisses? what about those counterfiet chocolate kisses that get sold? go after the candy makers, not us. [/end rant]

SU would make a killing if they brought back Wild West for just one month!! I loved when they did the 'retirement sets' during their 15th anniversary!
Nancy
I'm feeling pretty blessed for being with SU for so long. I have most of the ones you guys are mentioning...but I'd LOVE to get my hands on Wild West, Equestrian Dreams and Tractor Time.

Damask! I loved that set and sold and used it relentlessly and only got to use it for one mini! It was a bargain, and versatile, everything a stamp should be.
Remember Toy Box? That was such a sweet set too. And Toile! I am the only one who never got Toile!
