Last year I did not send cards. Was not in the spirit. Had other things going on.
This year I made them all and sent them out. Happy I did. My Aunts loved them and missed them last year.I enjoy making cards and sending them to my friends and family.

Hello lovely crafters,

Just a note on postage. You may not receive them back if you don't put the correct postage....but the recipient may have paid the 21 cents (postage due) when it was delivered. So....you may be charging your friend for the cards you send.

I take card classes (lots of Christmas in July) so then I have a large stash for Christmas and only have to make a few more. This is the first year I have made cards for Operation Write Home though. I made lots....but for me it was fun!
I am also one who makes a lot of different cards....but have sent the same card to someone...oops...LOL!
Happy every kind of card making!

I learned the lesson of CAS for Christmas cards a few years back. I just don't want to spend a small fortune on postage. No changes this year.

I thought long and hard about this question. I don't mind the extra postage, most years my cards require a .70 stamp. That goes for other cards I send out as well.

I made about 130 simple Christmas cards this year and sent them to the Caring Hearts program that Jennifer McGuire and Vera Yates organize every year, and that was a great opportunity to use up some Christmas supplies for a worthy cause. I didn't even put a dent in my stash, and that's sad.

I think for Christmas '15, I am not going to buy any new stamps, or dies or paper or......
well, you get it. I want to use what I have here, which is a lot. I love Christmas stamps, and I "collect" them. It's about time I use them.

So no new supplies for me to make Christmas cards.

Might seem weird, but usually I know what card I'm making by now! I just see a card I love and I know that's the card I'll case!

For 2015 it's between four. I can't find the card sample for the main contender. Oh no! Three of the four came from my awesome SU demo.

Here's one I'm considering. I just love non-traditional colors. Now that I've finally realized I need to start in the summer, I can envision how fun it will be sitting on my deck making cards in July!
