In the endless pursuit of organization we live....or tools like paint brushes....
Have you ever circled back to something you were using before and changed out of?
Looking like I will be....recently someone asked about cutting plate storage which made me have to think about the big Gemini plates that my eyes keep skipping over lol.....they need a proper home. But with 432,000 storage options, finding something 9 x 10 x 4 (I want to put all my plates together (big shot too) and not be wedged tight) in clear-not so easy....unless I want to spend like 20 bucks and that is anathema to me for storage. I am cheap as heck when it comes to that. I looked around and I don't have anything I can re-purpose.
It is looking like a mag rack...which chafes me since I got rid of them all 5 years ago during a re-org. Pffft. I had my big shot in an old kitchen dry goods one but no go for the Gemini.
Have you circled back on anything? Paintbrushes, adhesives, basic cardstock?

Recently I have been absorbed with the videos of Iced Images and making cards with unique cuts and folds. Iced Images - YouTube It has created a renewed interest in my usually neglected printed cardstock. (Unfortunately, it has also prompted buying more DP!)

Pulled out a pad of grid paper to work on instead of my glass mat. I like that i can make notes on it as I go and that I don't end up with seemingly random smears of ink on my card panel. But I like the glass, too, so this circle will just keep on spinning! lol
I have gone back to using older tools like my Making Memories Slice. It is so much easier than always having to be on your computer.
Went back to simple coloring over ink techniques.
I have gotten back into cardmaking. That was surprising, I had such bad burnout. Once I started using my stamp as ephemera again and not a focal point it really helped me fall in love with cardmaking again.

I'm back to keeping it simple. Both in card design and the stamp itself. I ended up getting rid of all my glitter powders, drops, paste and just extra 'fluff' and I have to say inspiration is coming easier than ever before. There's no more stress to 'get it how I saw it on YouTube'.
I also took out a box of my old wood mounted stamps and have fallen in love with them all over again. They're fun and I've had several since my boys were little (they're in their 30's now!) so there's a lot of good memories attached to them.
I'm a paper hoarder and I made it a point to go through every.single.storage.container they were in and donated a ton of it to a school art program. They were thrilled to get it and I was just as thrilled to have the space back in my craft room.
So, right now, just keepin' it simple and it makes me--simply happy.

I don't think I could purge my bling lol...but I hear you on streamlining and making the process simpler for you. Having bling around sometimes makes people feel obligated to use it and we should never feel obligated in the craft space imho.
Yay on the wood stamps... and the DP purge.

Using more found objects for my creations instead of buying material. There is so much beautiful packaging to use that it is prettier than what we can buy.
I love my punch boards but I have been creating all my envelopes, pockets, tucks by “hand” folding paper instead of relying on tools. I use my empty pen to score my paper and my little milk jug flare to fold. I have been creating the most unusual things this way.
Using my Cricut Joy and Making Memories Slice to cut out simple shapes instead of punches.
I am thinning out all my coloring tools for my move. It feels so good to go back to simple.
My old motto was less tools, more time to create. In the past few years the tools became more. I was so glad to learn those things and it helped me realize what kind of artist I am. I circled back to less is more.
Bling is life, lol.

I have circled back to keeping the projects simpler so they get done. Not every card or scrapbook page is going to be a work of art. Not every project is going to feature nifty techniques and tons of product. Sometimes stamping should be just for fun, with less pressure to top myself or match what I see in other people's samples.

Recently I've been back into ink blending and smooshing with Distress - it's so satisfying. I'm a pretty CAS cardmaker already, but this year I've circled back to masking and spotlighting.
