Shelli is still involved, just not in the same way. They never said why, exactly. At first, Shelli & her husband Sterling went on a year-long mission and Sara stepped in to run things. When they came back, Sara continued at the helm. I'm not "in the know", but it looked like maybe it was time to begin transitioning (or this was a good opportunity to do it?). More recently, they shared that Shelli is dealing with an autoimmune disorder and has been undergoing treatment. But she does still communicate in the Demonstrator videos and at events.
The new overall direction is global (UK, Japan, Australia, Germany...) Product-wise, they're trying to stay true to the variety of image styles and other products we sell. Like you said, prices are all over the map but for the most part they are on target for the products and product quality offered. Right now, we're getting teasers about the upcoming fall/winter aka holiday catalog and I'm happy to see things that people have been asking for. I'm sure you will see more about that soon.
