I can relate to nearly all of the above, but my thing is when I get a card made and it's so pretty, and then the last thing I do is stamp the sentiment on and it's crooked! Then I end up having to stamp the sentiment on another piece of paper and layer it on. And I really hate to admit this, but a couple times I've not only stamped the sentiment crooked, I've actually stamped it upside down.

okay, everything you guys said, AND.. mine involves ME being lazy. i can NEVER remember to clean my stamping scrub, so i'll go to clean my stamps after i'm done and my scrub is so dirty, it just doesn't come clean, then i try another cleaner and a cloth, then my clear stamps get fuzzy... okay i'm done.

i too will get to the end of a card, it's perfect, then i'll say to myself, "self, add some ribbon.." and i'll use the most assinine adhesive or SOMETHING and it will ruin the whole card.. OR i'll just add a little shading with a grey copic and it will creep the colours from inside the image.. typical me. every time.

Oh there are a couple of things....
1-When I am in a "creative mood" having to stop to do something.
2-Not being organized
3-Having a project or tech. in mind and not being able to put it to paper.

Mine is getting a card all ready to go - all it needs is the rivets. Then the crop-o-dile eats the rivet and mashes it into the card. Seriously - I need to learn how to use that thing. I've had to cover up smashed rivets or the holes they've left behind too many times!

I hate it when I think I've just cut my paper to 5.5 inches only to discover that I made it 5 inches. Especially when I have to break a whole new sheet to correct myself. The other day I even did it when I did not have any spare to fix myself. I had to pick a whole new color for the base of the card! I know that ultimately I will use all my paper so that scrap mistakes will get used, but at the time it's frustrating! I do it all the time so I think I need to take a tip from my Dad and measure twice and cut once! I don't mind so much when I do the reverse because I can cut off the extra (but then I've go a skinny strip to figure out how to use another time.)

This happens to me too. I usually end up calling my DD's into help me find it and they just sigh and say "here it is mom".

When my husband comes up behind me and starts telling me how to stamp...he always has a "better" way for figuring out measurements, adjusting the LO, etc. He's not a stamper and says he doesn't want to be, but sheesh!

For me it's cat hair. My sweet furgirl thinks she needs to lay on my desk while I stamp. Hair on my adhesive, hair on EVERY acrylic stamp, hair on my stamp scrubber, you get the picture. Then, when I color, she thinks it's fun to follow the end of the pencil-marker and chew on the end. Those images look real great. LOL! The best is a paw that walks across an open ink pad...then of course across a finished project. Gotta love those pets!

Another thing that bugs me is the backs to dimensionals...I can never get them off my fingers.

*SNORT* Yes, watercoloring is supposed to be a forgiving medium. But when you smear the ink by dragging your hand through the inkpad, drop the ink after you tip your re-inker over .... watch the ink travels miles past the stamped image line because you were too impatient to let dry (even with a heat gun) ... it is not so forgiving and you are not even close to a nice looking 'watercolory' image!

uuummm... that would be my kids! They do not pay any attention to me unless I
1. sit down to stamp
2. talk on the phone...
..I know they have some sort of radar, cause they can even be outside and manage to "need" me just as I sit down to start to stamp..
..yep... they drive me crazy! but I love them just the same!

This happens to me ALL the time and it drives me nuts! Where did that dang glue runner go? Oh, under this scrap piece of paper! My stamping area is much too small.

Stamping a crooked image. I SHOULD invest in the Stamp-A-Majig thingy, but I always get side-tracked by the stamps I just HAVE TO HAVE!

I do this all the time, so you'd think I'd remember! I'm forever attaching my layers then realizing it needs (or I wanted to add) brads or eyelets. I'ts usually when I'm in a hurry, too- so then I wind up adding a layer inside the card cuz' I don't like the stuff showing on the inside! Oh, well.

My cats want attention from me, so whenever I am stamping one of my cat would jump on top of my desk and lay down on whatever I am working on. Or the others will be playing with my craft supplies like the ribbons, brad, etc. I usually have to stop and walk away from my crafting area to give them my time and has to get back to my project later.

I HATE when my layers are uneven!! I go crazy.
It does not bother me as much when I cannot find something because I kinda live my whole life like that! "Where are my keys?" is the most used words at my house to be followed by "Where is my purse?"

I loved reading that so many of us have that same problem of losing something right under our noses. That is so me, too!! The other thing I seem to be notorious for is adding a sentiment that is crooked or off a bit. And it's always the last thing I add to the card, so it can be real frustrating. I know, I know, that's what a stamp -a-ma-jig is for, but see reason 1---I don't even know where to look for it!!!Ha!

Not getting enough sheets of a paper I don't know I really like yet when I'm shopping!

I had bought a sheet of dark brown textured paper - of course I can't remember where now - for a specific project. Nothing horribly special, just worked for my idea, so I got what I needed. Now I've got another idea, and I really want THAT paper for a swap card. But I don't have enough, and I can't remember who makes it, and I can't find it anywhere! And I'm one of those people that can't just find something that works - I NEED that color and texture. Now I need another idea. I hate that!

I am almost ashamed to tell this one. More than once I have work on a card front for hours and then glued it so the card opens wrong. Of course with industrial glue that destroys it if you try to reposition. I always wind up cutting the whole thing off and putting it on another larger card. So dumb, I know!
