Default What do you use to cut...

Circles, ovals, squares and rectangles?

I see a lot of cards in the galleries that have the image in one of these shapes and absolutely love them. What does everyone use to cut these shapes?

Spellbinders Nestabilities?

Look them up in the forums. There's a bunch of information about them. I love them myself.

Oh and ... My circles are in the mail! My circles are in the mail!

If you don't have a diecutting machine to use with the Nestabilities, you can buy punches in those shapes that work well.

Before I got the punches, I hand-traced my ovals and circles with a plastic template and cut them out with scissors. It took a little time, but worked well.

There are lots of things on the market to cut circles/oval, etc. Nestabilities are currently all the rage. I still use my Creative Memories cutting system a lot, even though I own some of the Nesties.

I don't have any die-cutting machines, so I use the Fiskars ShapeCutter for ovals, circles and hearts (punches for small ones), and I just do squares and rectangles with a knife and ruler. But I do like those scalloped Nestabilities.

Overstock.com has them for $19.99 each set, and shipping is $2.95 for your entire order, no matter how many items.

I don't have a die cut machine yet, so I still use my Creative Memories circle, oval, heart, diamond, pentagon, frames, etc. cutters. It is probably harder and more time consuming, but I am familar with them and they didn't cost me any extra money as I already had them for scrapbooking!

I love my Fiskars Ultrashapercutter Xpress with the orange templates in different shapes and sizes. I use those the most. I also have Marvy punches (scalloped). I do not have any Spellbinders yet. I am thinking of investing in a Wizard machine around the holidays.

Good luck!

I almost always use nestability dies as well. I do have some Marvy punches, too.

I bought scallop circle nesties, but I still use my coluzzle to cut circles and ovals. I just can't justify the expense of new nesties when I already have coluzzle for those shapes. I didn't think I needed nesties oval scallops, but I'm really starting to think I GOTTA HAVE THEM!

I never could figure out the trick to the coluzzle. Right now I have punches and nesties. I think the nesties will win out!!!

They are the same thing. It looks like their using pictures of the actual nestabilities for some and cut out pieces for others.

I wish Overstock shipped to Canada. Even with the exchange rate sometimes its still cheaper....:(

To cut out perfect circles and ovals in any size I want I use my CraftRobo.

I used to order all mine from ucutathome.com. The 40% off brings the cost of the nesties down to like $13.40 per set but their shipping is high. Add the shipping and you are over $20.00 per set and on top of that, many times you have to wait weeks or even months for shipping. Having said that, and being happy with my orders from ucutathome.com, I have been ordering from overstock.com because you can often get shipping for only $1.00 or even free and their normal shipping is only $2.95 for your whole order. They ship immediately and I ususally have my order within 2 days of placing the order.
Blessings.

This is how I got my Nestabilities too. I received a CuttleBug for Christmas last year and each month I placed a UCutatHome order and gradually purchased all that I wanted.

I bought my Nesties from ucutathome as well, but I agree with the poster above who said that they can take a long time to ship.

It took weeks for me to get mine.

For me I have the Marvy Uchida punches. I can't afford the Nestabilities at this time and these work well for me.

I guess I ordered at a good time, they were here in three days and shipping was only 6.50!

I picked up the rectangles, then squares, and I'll go back next month!

Default Colluzle

I use my colluzle from SU for circles and ovals. They were cheaper than buying the creative memories templates and blades. You can sometimes find them in stores on sale.
