Now that Easter is here.... I can't think of anything to make now. It seems like its been nonstop holidays since October. Now that Easter is over.... I'm trying to figure out what cute thing I can make next! LOL Guess I could work on my scrapbooking a bit!

Mother's Day is coming! Someone you know must be having a birthday or anniversary sometime soon? How about a card with a catch-up note to an old friend who lives far away? Also, there are plenty of swaps, RAKs etc here to participate in. There's always an "excuse" for making a card.
I am in a monthly card swap and our theme for next month is floral. We aren't putting sentiments in them so that we can use them for birthday, mother's day, etc.... I like making cute things for people at work. I made the bunny nuggets last week. They were a huge hit! Now I'm on the hunt for something else cute to make.
Now is a good time to stock up on everyday cards! I've been making birthday, thinking of you, blank cards that I can add a sentiment to, and wedding cards for the past week. I like having a bunch of hand and then I can just grab one to send when needed.
I'm actually as busy now as I was right before Christmas. I'm making a scrapbook for a friend who's having a baby girl in July. I'm going to make her some thank you cards as well. Then I have a couple RAK cards to make, one more March birthday (my family has several in March). When I get all this done I hope I can start catching up on my own scrapbooking. Then I suppose it will be time for teacher appreciation week, Mother's Day, and then end of school year teacher gifts. I'm really looking forward to this summer when I can just stamp for the pure fun of it.

Actually for me, the next several months are non-stop it seems-
May 11: Mother's Day
May 19: Our anniversary
May 26: Memorial Day
June 5: My borthday
June 15: Father's Day
July 4: Independence Day
July 7: Hubby's Birthday
If I could make a suggestion, how about makeing cards for heros program. They can always use some more and would love to have your beautiful ones.
here is the link with the information in it.
Does anyone make May baskets anymore? My cousin and I used to make this when we were little. You put flowers or little candies in them and hang them on people's doors. We are planning to make some this year and I was thinking about using my empty Wyler's drink mix canisters.
Administrative Professionals Day is April 23 - don't forget your favorite secretary, receptionist, or clerk whether they work at a business you frequent, your dr's office or your child's school.
Personally, I'm going to be making Passover cards next. And thank you notes for my DD's birthday party (I already did the invitations).

You know I was just thinking this very same thing today...I'm thinking what to work on next, but I have several birthdays coming up and mother's day and father's day, so I'm sure I can find something to keep me busy.
I did make a scrapbook for my mother in law for mother's day and I should work on one for my mother. I was going to post it in my gallery, but I didn't use stampin up items in the scrapbook. Actually I cheated and I bought a scrapbook kit from wal-mart, but I still made it and it's the thought that counts.
Not that I'll take my own advise, but if you send Christmas cards, why not get a jump on those while you have time? I always wind up leaving them until the last minute (and last year not doing them at all) because I get so busy at the end of the year.
Agreed about the Christmas cards - and last year I thought I had NO graduation cards to make - how wrong was I - I had to make about 6 in a limited time span etc... so I'm now trying to keep at least something appropriate in my box.
There are also Thank Yous that can be pre-made and just general thinking of you cards -
I'm in a cardswap and we send each other cards monthly which is a great time to explore new techniques - and yes I send them what I make whether it ends up like I thought it would or not, because we are all learning and I value their opinion.
I'm trying to get some stuff done for a confirmation project, then Mother's Day and then Teacher thank you's probably some graduations as well... but first I need to make Easter Thank Yous!!!! and birthday Thank yous --- I'm getting so behind already.
Also card sets to give as a gift would be good to work on.
