At the risk of sounding as if I've been under a rock for awhile what is this Bella thing that is creating such a fuss in the forum? I have no idea what you ladies are talking about.

bellas are some cute stamps... beware....They can be found here http://www.stampingbella.com/index.php and they have a tendence to lighten your bank account once you look at them...
I think this is a pretty new company, so I wouldn't expect to see them in stores. Also, you might wanna know these are unmounted rubber, so you gotta have acrylic blocks, and ez mount, if you love having foam.
I keep seeing these threads about them, but what exactly ARE they?
Sarah
Bellas are part of a line of *unmounted* rubber stamps from a new designer, StampingBella. She launched her site in December 2006, I believe. She (the designer/ creator-bella) is located in Ontario, Canada. Like I said, they are unmounted - rubber only - so you can decide how you'd like to mount them.
You can store them unmounted, and then mount them temporarily on acrylic blocks using a temporary glue such as Tack It Over and Over by the people who make Tacky Glue, or EZ Mount if you'd like to have a temporary bond with foam between your rubber and the acrylic block.
Or you can buy permanent adhesive foam and wood blocks and mount them on wood if you'd rather (like what you do with SU stamps).

No, they're just rubber. You need a block (as I'm sure you know) and you can attach it to your block in a number of ways. I've just put double sided tape all over my block and it's stayed sticky for weeks.
thank you! if i'm not mistaken TAC sells the clingfoam, i might just order that. that stuff is cool!

LOL It is a line of stamps. They are mostly of skinny women in various poses. You could go to the gallery and type "bella" in the search and you'll see.
LOL Watch out! There are some GREAT enablers over here! ;) Even though I've never bought any Bellas and don't plan on it either - they seem to be pretty popular from all the enabling!
